Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Lead is the recognised face of Supply Chain to the Market and the voice of the Market within Supply Chain. The role owns and orchestrates end-to-end APM (Asia Distributors markets + Singapore IMC) Supply Chain performance across service levels, demand quality, S&OP outcomes, cost to serve, customer service, logistics execution and inventory-related trade-offs. The incumbent partners closely with the APM Managing Director and commercial leadership, translating business priorities into disciplined Supply Chain choices while leveraging local, regional and global resources to deliver sustainable service, growth and cost performance.

 

Key Accountabilities

1. Supply Chain Business Partnering & Market Leadership

  • Act as the single, responsive point of contact for Supply Chain for the APM Leadership Team and commercial organisation.
  • Partner with the APM Managing Director to anticipate business constraints, understand customer and channel needs, and translate market priorities into Supply Chain actions.
  • Influence cross-functional decisions beyond Supply Chain by bringing fact-based trade-off recommendations on service, cost, inventory, availability and demand quality.
  • Communicate Supply Chain priorities, risks, opportunities and project impacts clearly to market stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment and follow-through.

 

2. S&OP, Demand Planning & Commercial Collaboration

  • Lead the local S&OP / Demand Planning process, enabling consensus meetings, challenging assumptions and tracking risks and opportunities.
  • Improve the level of maturity of the existing S&OP process in APM, ensure standardization to Campari One plan model
  • Own forecast quality at market level, including bias, forecast value-add, data integrity and appropriate aggregation for regional and local decision-making.
  • Drive one-plan discipline and readiness for IBP / digital planning capabilities, ensuring local teams adopt standard planning cycles and ways of working.

 

3. Customer Service, Logistics & Cost to Serve

  • Be responsible for customer service and logistics operations in APM, including order-to-delivery performance, service recovery, delivery reliability and distribution performance, from Singapore warehouse.
  • Be responsible for the implementation and the logistics operation of the future Logistics Asia Hub, coordinating supply of defined Asia markets from all sources
  • Own cost-to-serve visibility and improvement plans, identifying logistics levers and productivity opportunities while protecting service and growth.
  • Manage and develop strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers, transportation partners, warehouses and key external service providers.
  • Partner with the commercial organisation on distributor relationships, collaborative planning, service alignment and issue resolution.

 

4. End-to-End Supply Chain Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Connect demand, supply, inventory, materials, customer service and logistics into a coherent end-to-end market view.
  • Identify business and operational opportunities, define action plans and drive execution to enhance service delivery, availability and working capital outcomes.
  • Build robust performance management routines based on clear KPIs for service, forecast accuracy, cost, inventory and operational productivity.
  • Lead local Supply Chain transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects, including logistics network optimisation, customer service transformation and route-to-market related change.

 

5. People Leadership, Matrix Collaboration & Operating Model Catalyst

  • Coordinate local functional Supply Chain efforts and foster collaboration across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance and Commercial teams.
  • Engage regional and global Supply Chain counterparts proactively to answer local business needs, escalating trade-offs and priorities with clear recommendations.
  • Develop team capability and succession pipeline across demand planning, customer service and logistics roles where direct or functional leadership is in scope.
  • Role model Campari values ,  GSC behaviors and mindsets, creating an engaged, accountable and performance-oriented Supply Chain climate.

 

Key Relationships

 

Internal: PM Leadership Team: Managing Director, Sales and Marketing, Finance / FP&A, HR - Regional Supply Chain: Supply Planning, S&OP and Demand Planning, Procurement and CoMan, Quality and R&D – Global Supply Chain functions: Innovation, MDM, CS&L and Planning .

External: Third-party logistics providers, distributors, key customers, freight forwarders, service partners where relevant.

 

Experience, Education & Success Profile

Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 10+ years of Supply Chain experience, ideally including APM/Singapore exposure in S&OP, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Logistics or Commercial Planning.
  • Proven experience in FMCG  or F&B  industry
  • Experience operating in a matrix organisation and influencing senior commercial stakeholders without relying only on formal authority.
  • People management or functional leadership experience, including capability building and performance management, is strongly recommended.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects in logistics, customer service, planning, network optimisation or route-to-market change.
  • Strong digital and data literacy; SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP or advanced planning system exposure is an advantage.
  • Fluent English required; other Asian language and cross-cultural APAC experience are strong advantages.

  • Multi-country or APAC regional experience, with the cultural agility to navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
