Role/Mission/Objectives
As a member of the Global Product Related Procurement team, and with a direct reporting line into the Global Procurement Other Packaging Category Manager, the Global Procurement Packaging Analyst will help make operational processes simpler, smarter and more effective through processes data analysis, digitalization and automation.
The Analyst will support strategic and operational procurement activities, transform data into actionable insights and contribute to continuous process improvement across the Other Packaging categories, working closely with regional and global teams.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Support the review and improvement of Other Packaging procurement processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation
- Support in performing data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities, providing insights to Packaging Buyers
- Challenge manual ways of working and participate in digitalization and process efficiency projects, testing smarter tools and practical solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Planning, Finance, Quality, Innovation) to gather and validate data
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation for global and regional meetings, with internal and external stakeholders
- Support sourcing activities, category analyses, supplier comparisons and the preparation of decision-oriented presentations and negotiation materials for global and regional stakeholders
- Provide practical day-to-day support to the Other Packaging Procurement team, gaining hands-on procurement experience
- Explore and apply AI-enabled tools to support data analysis, market research, reporting and the automation of repetitive procurement activities, while critically validating outputs and data accuracy
Key Relationships
Internal: Global Procurement Team ;Regional and local Supply Chain Teams (Procurement, Planning, Quality, R&D); Regional FP&A Team
External: Consultants eventually involved in projects, education institutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
- Previous internship or short experience (up to 1-2 years) preferred
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret and communicate data clearly
- Proficiency with Excel is recommended
- Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of another languages is a plus
- Strong motivation to develop a career within Procurement & Supply Chain
