Position Context & Mission
As part of Campari Group’s Advanced Integrated Planning (AIP) transformation, the Global Planning Center of Excellence (CoE) plays a critical role in shaping the future of Demand & S&OP across the organization.
The Global Planning CoE Manager – Demand & S&OP acts as the capability owner of global demand planning and S&OP standards, driving the design, governance, and adoption of a best-in-class, AI-enabled planning operating model.
This role is accountable for ensuring consistent global standards, scalable processes, and strong adoption across regions, acting as a key enabler of the company’s planning transformation and decision-making agility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Standards & Governance
- Define and continuously improve global Demand & S&OP processes, models, governance, and KPIs
- Design and implement standard operating models, including planning cadence, RACI, and hand-offs
- Ensure end-to-end consistency across regions, minimizing local deviations and exceptions
- Act as guardian of data integrity, KPI definitions, and planning assumptions frameworks
2. S&OP / IBP Process Excellence
- Lead the standardization and maturity evolution of S&OP / IBP processes globally
- Define and deploy global process frameworks, including FVA (Forecast Value Added) and maturity models
- Conduct regular process maturity assessments, identifying gaps and driving improvement roadmaps
- Partner with regions to ensure effective adoption and execution of planning cycles
3. Planning Transformation & Digital Enablement
- Drive adoption of planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP) and new system capabilities
- Partner with IT to:
- Define capability roadmaps and adoption plans
- Manage releases and prioritize enhancements
- Lead UAT and ensure alignment with global standards
- Contribute to AI-enabled planning capabilities, including agent-based solutions (forecast sensing, scenarios, data quality monitoring)
4. Capability Building & Community Development
- Define the planning capability framework and competency model
- Assess capability gaps and drive upskilling programs and learning journeys
- Build and nurture a global planning community, promoting best practice sharing
- Enable planners to adopt data-driven and AI-supported decision making
5. Change Management & Adoption
- Act as a change leader, driving adoption of global standards across regions
- Coach and influence regional stakeholders without direct authority
- Ensure proper training, communication, and documentation for all process and tool changes
- Balance global consistency with business needs, avoiding fragmentation
6. Cross-functional Integration
- Act as global point of contact for planning in enterprise transformation initiatives
- Ensure integration of Demand & S&OP with Supply, Finance, Commercial, and Innovation processes
- Collaborate with:
- Regional Planning CoEs and teams
- Global Supply Chain & other CoEs
- IT Business Partners and HR
Experience & Background
- 6–10 years in Planning / S&OP / IBP roles, with increasing responsibility
- Proven experience in global or regional planning leadership and transformation programs
- Experience in process design, standardization, and operating model definition
- Exposure to multinational FMCG / CPG environments, multi-region and multi-category
Education
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain.
Functional & Technical Capabilities
- Knowledge of data models, KPIs, and planning performance frameworks
- Experience with planning tools (SAP IBP preferred)
- Familiarity with AI/advanced analytics in planning is a strong plus
