Role Purpose
As Global Marketing Procurement Buyer, you will lead sourcing and day-to-day procurement activities across multiple marketing services categories, ensuring efficient coverage, value creation, and business continuity. Working in a global matrix with both global (House of Brands) and local stakeholders, you will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies, negotiate and implement contracts, and help strengthen a compliant, effective supplier ecosystem that delivers the right quality, cost, and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy implementation & value creation
- Support the Global Marketing & Media Procurement Director in developing and executing sourcing strategies and category initiatives.
- Conduct market and cost analyses to inform sourcing decisions and negotiations.
- Contribute to value-creation initiatives, including productivity, supplier innovation, and sustainability actions.
Category management
- Monitor spend, supplier performance, and relevant market/industry trends across multiple sub-categories.
- Support category planning (e.g., SWOT, risk mapping, project pipeline) and help maintain visibility of demand and priorities.
- Help shape supplier engagement approaches and maintain structured communication with key stakeholders.
Sourcing & tendering
- Prepare and manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Consolidate requirements (scope, specifications, volumes, service levels) to enable competitive and fit-for-purpose sourcing outcomes.
- Ensure procurement documentation is complete, stored appropriately, and supports smooth implementation of agreements.
Contracting & implementation
- Support contract drafting and execution aligned with legal templates and internal policies.
- Monitor contract performance, KPI delivery, and compliance with agreed terms; escalate and help resolve issues when needed.
- Implement and maintain contracts within Campari’s contract management system.
Supplier relationship management & risk
- Support supplier evaluation and regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Help identify and mitigate supplier risks (financial, operational, reputational) and support business continuity.
Compliance & process excellence
- Support onboarding and evaluation of suppliers in line with procurement guidelines and processes.
- Contribute to simplification, efficiency initiatives, and internal procurement reporting requirements.
Capabilities / Requirements (Must-Have)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing procurement, marketing, procurement, or within a marketing agency environment (e.g., creative/digital, production, PR/influencers), ideally in an international and/or matrix organisation.
- Category knowledge: Strong exposure to Market Research, PR/Influencers, Creative & Digital, and Production services categories.
- Commercial & analytical skills: Strong analytical capability and negotiation skills; able to translate insight into robust sourcing decisions.
- Stakeholder management: Confident, credible communicator able to partner with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes in a matrix environment.
- Ways of working: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritising effectively across multiple demands, and delivering outcomes with accountability.
- Education: University degree in business, finance, marketing, or economics.
