1) Define AI Transformation Strategy & Portfolio Direction (Global Value + Governance)

Own the enterprise AI direction, ensuring alignment to business objectives and long-term growth.

Key accountabilities

  • Define and lead the Company’s AI transformation strategy and global AI product vision, aligned to business priorities and functional value pools.
  • Build and steer the enterprise AI portfolio (platform capabilities + reusable components + scaled products), including investment logic and sequencing.
  • Establish governance, standards and decision rights (ethical AI, risk appetite, lifecycle controls) to scale safely and consistently.
  • Maintain a technology and market radar (emerging trends, best practices), translating insights into actionable opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

 

2) Own Use Case Scaling, Value Realization & Adoption

Ensure high-value use cases deliver measurable impact and scale across functions and geographies.

Key accountabilities

  • Identify, evaluate, prioritize and scale high-value AI use cases across core functions (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Sales, HR), ensuring global scalability.
  • Define KPIs/OKRs and value-tracking models, monitoring impact on efficiency, revenue growth, customer value, and user adoption.
  • Shape product outcomes and requirements at the right altitude (user journeys, process/operating model impact, service expectations).
  • Drive adoption at scale through rollout planning, enablement, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

 

3) Orchestrate Cross-Functional Delivery with AI Tech Lead (Operating Model + Quality + Risk)

Co-lead execution with Technology, ensuring robust, compliant, scalable delivery.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams across Business, Technology, Data, and Governance stakeholders to deliver integrated outcomes.
  • Partner with the AI Tech Lead to ensure solutions meet standards of scalability, robustness, ethics, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and evolve the AI operating model (roles, responsibilities, processes, governance, RACI), enabling sustainable enterprise adoption.
  • Set delivery discipline (planning cadence, dependency management, release governance) and ensure operational readiness (MLOps/LLMOps monitoring, reliability, support).

 

4) Evangelize AI, Drive Cultural Change & Enterprise Change Management (with Exec Leaders & HR)

Embed AI into ways of working and decision-making through leadership alignment and capability building.

Key accountabilities

  • Partner with Executive Leaders and functional heads to sponsor enterprise-wide AI adoption and embed AI into strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Co-design with HR and L&D the capability agenda (AI literacy, role impacts, learning pathways, communities of practice, new ways of working).
  • Lead the change management plan (communications, engagement, policy/process updates, adoption KPIs) to sustain scaled transformation.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and experimentation within structured governance, ensuring disciplined execution and responsible AI use.

 

This role is based in Milan, Italy.
