General Description of the Role
The CCM (Channel & Customer Marketing) Manager – On Trade is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening brand presence and delivering execution excellence across the on-trade channel. The role leads the development and execution of channel strategy, trade activation and customer marketing plans to achieve commercial objectives, build brand equity and deliver strong return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the annual on-trade channel strategy and activation plan to maximize return on investment and deliver superior consumer experiences at the point of sale in line with global guidelines and local market priorities
- Own channel performance and deliver key KPIs including sales, profitability, market share, coverage, distribution and execution quality
- Manage and monitor activations / outlet-level programs at scale across priority on-trade & Monitor activation effectiveness through clear KPIs
- Lead annual and monthly activation planning, budget allocation and performance tracking to ensure disciplined investment management and strong ROI
- Manage projects and communication with internal and external partners, including agencies, customers, wholesalers and distributors
- Coach field teams and partner with sales leaders to improve execution discipline, capability and consistency across regions
Experience Required & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in the on-trade or on-premise channel
- Strong planning, organisation, prioritisation and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex project timelines
- Strong understanding of on-trade route-to-market, outlet segmentation, execution standards and field activation in Korea
- Experience in budget management, investment prioritization and post-evaluation of activation ROI
- Strong capability in data analysis, KPI tracking and translating outlet and channel performance into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrates effective stakeholder management, understands the broader business context and is committed to delivering results
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
- High level of ownership, execution discipline and attention to compliance in a regulated category
- Fluency in both Korean and English is required
- People management experience is an advantage but not a must ; experience in the liquor industry is a plus
