General Description of the Role

 

Accounts receivable managers are responsible for the collection of payments from clients on behalf of the company. They supervise a team of clerks and oversee the timely and accurate invoicing of customers and the handling of overdue payments according to the company’s policies.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

 

  • Review and check Invoice timely and properly.
  • Review and book expenditure, AP, and other BS Accounts including Closing accounts. 
  • Monthly end closing in terms of accounting and conduct Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial report( BS/PL).
  • Make a analytical review based on accounting including finding out significant remarkable elements. 
  • Manage aging A R including intercompany transactions. 
  • Assist business process development and project management. 
  • Take responsibility for internal control in terms of accounting/fixed asset/other related parts. 
  • Other Ad hoc reporting and projects as required . 

 

Experience Required

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Preferably CPA or equivalent qualifying
  • Minimum 3-5 years in an accounting environment, preferably in the liquor industry.
  • Ability in English (written and spoken), preferably fluent in English
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • High organizational / time management skills.
  • Approachability in dealing with internal & external parties.
