General Description of the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will provide commercial analysis and decision support that helps drive profitable growth across the Australian business.

Working closely with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain and Finance, you will deliver insights that support forecasting, pricing, customer profitability, trade investment and commercial performance, helping turn data into better business decisions. 

 

What You'll Own

  • Partner with Sales to provide commercial insights and decision support.
  • Coordinate forecasting, planning and performance reporting activities.
  • Analyse customer, channel and brand profitability to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support pricing, trade investment and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Turn complex data into clear recommendations that support better business decisions.
  • Partner across Commercial Finance to develop a holistic view of business performance and profitability.

 

About You

  • Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Commercial Analytics or Finance Business Partnering, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or a similarly complex commercial environment. Beverage or liquor industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in customer profitability, pricing, trade investment, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively across Sales, Finance and other business functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, Circana/IRI or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
  • Degree qualified in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline. CPA or CA qualifications are advantageous.
