General Description of the Role


As the Integrated Marketing Communications & Activation Manager, you will hold a central role within the German Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director Germany. Your core responsibility lies in the strategic and operational execution of media planning and buying—across both online and offline channels. This aspect of the role demands hands-on involvement and a strong command of media operations to ensure impactful, efficient, and consistent brand exposure.

In addition to media, you’ll lead a team across digital and social media, PR, partnerships, and consumer events. Your focus will be on guiding and coaching your team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that all activities are aligned under a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy.

 

Your tasks

  • Define and lead the media and digital strategy across all channels, ensuring full alignment with brand objectives, global guidelines, and market requirements
  • Manage and evaluate external media and digital agencies, building a strong partner network to identify trends and drive innovation
  • Optimize media investment through best‑in‑class negotiations, budget allocation, and full oversight of the media buying and accounting cycle
  • Develop and implement impactful Brand PR initiatives that strengthen brand positioning and visibility.
  • Plan and execute consumer events that reinforce brand strategy while maximizing budget efficiency and consumer engagement
  • Ensure consistent and effective brand presence by developing an optimal media mix and exploring innovative communication solutions
  • Provide insights, trend monitoring, and coaching to Marketing and Commercial teams on media, digital platforms, PR, events, and emerging technologies
  • Own the local CRM strategy, including lead generation, content planning, and KPI definition for digital, social media, PR, and consumer event activities

 

Your profile

  • At least 8 years’ experience as Media and Digital Manager acquired in multinational Food & Beverage Companies and min. 5 years of media buying
  • University degree in Business Administration or Marketing & Communication
  • Fluent knowledge of German and English
  • Knowledge of design and development of web communication strategy (Web advertising, Website Management, Properties, Web sites)
  • Experience in collaboration with Media Agencies & PR agencies management
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Leadership experience

This is a temporary role until 30th November 2027 to cover a parental leave.
