General Description of the Role

The Brand Manager fully pilots Jägermeister in the assigned territory. The mission will be:

 Be the link between the regional team and the local partner

 Take brand ownership nationally and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to

 Be the guardian of brand positioning and develop/signoff all local brand assets in conjunction with the Jägermeister Area Director to ensure they meet brand BVI and positioning standard

 Implicitly understand consumers, get to know where they are and how to connect with them

 Develop KPI’s for all brand activities and measure success vs.defined goals

 Manage the A&P budget and ensure that all resources are optimized. This includes the activity split and regional allocation

 Send monthly reporting to the global team. Ensure that all the information provided is accurate and respect strict deadlines

 Develop the year round brand activity calendar and scheduling of activities across the states

 Conduct the national development of activation programs and their implementation

 Manage three brand ambassardors(independent agency),  work together with the partner’s sales team, identify and build relationship to achieve listing and execution with all the top on-premise accounts.

 Monitor product distribution on the on-trade and off-trade channel. Continuously liaise with the partner’s sales team to ensure that monthly and annual sales targets are reached, precisely manage the order process and inventory conducted by Brand Ambassadors

 Identify, list and partner with top events, music festivals and bands and ensure execution meets brand standards

 Connect the global and local digital team and monitor the performances on Facebook and Instagram on a monthly basis

 Constantly monitor and asses the competitors’ brands in the defined territory and report back to management

 

Requirements

 Sales and results driven, with strong leaderships and stakeholder management skills

 Being really disciplined, detailed oriented and able to respect strict deadlines

 Being an opinion leader with an outgoing personality and good ability to network

 Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills

 Being connected to what’s happening, identifies and recommends local events and activities

 High sense of creativity

 Previous brand management in the spirit, beverage, tobacco or FMCG industry preferred

 

Language Requirements

 Japanese (Native Level)

 English (High Business level)

 

Education / Professional Qualifications

  University degree

 Formal Marketing training preferable
