General Description of the Role
At Campari Australia, our Commercial Finance team helps turn data into better business decisions. We're looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst who enjoys working with numbers, understanding business performance, and providing insights that support commercial outcomes.
Working closely with the Finance and Sales teams, you'll support forecasting, reporting, and analysis across a portfolio of iconic brands. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join or further develop their commercial finance career in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.
What you'll be doing
- Support forecasting, planning and monthly performance reporting
- Analyse trade spends and COGS impact on Net Sales and Gross Profit
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure planned trade spend is accurately accounted for and COGS impact is understood
- Maintain accurate system for pricing, rebates and work with commercial teams to ensure Duty and company price increases are actioned on a timely basis
- Identify risks, opportunities and performance drivers
- Contribute to reporting improvements and process efficiencies
What we're looking for
- Experience in Commercial Finance, Commercial Analysis, Sales Finance, FP&A or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting forecasting, planning and performance reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
Highly regarded
- Experience within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Beverage or Retail environments
- Exposure to pricing, trade spend, promotions, profitability or commercial investment analysis
- CPA/CA qualification, or progress towards completion
- Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar reporting tools
