General Description of the Role
The Supply Response Planner develops, monitors, and assesses performance against detailed supply
and replenishment plans for domestic produced finished goods within the Jamaican supply network.
The Supply Response will directly perform the duties of creating production plans, schedules, and
rework activities of manufactured finished goods. They will also be responsible for ensuring both
import and export requirements are met to ensure adequate coverage in export markets within the
annual allocation. The Supply Response Planner will work directly within the Jamaican market and
report to the Supply Response Manager.


Mission/Objectives
To achieve service level targets, while minimizing over stocked inventory, and operating costs.
Assessing impacts of logistics delays for exports, and monitoring production outputs against the plan
to identify any shortage risks on Finished Goods. Prepare and present analytical reporting on current
and future performance and work directly with the Supply Response Manager on presenting possibly
solutions to the Supply Response Director for North America. Participate in the Jamaican Supply
Review as well as the Commercial S&OE. Ensure master data for production is accurately maintained
by coordinating with the local Master Data Specialist.


Key Responsibilities and Activities
Primary Responsibilities
• On a weekly basis, develop balanced plans to drive decisions for production, purchasing and
replenishment across the Campari supply network
• Maintain consistent inventory management practices and adhere to inventory policies.
• Identify risks and/or opportunities within the supply plan and execute necessary changes in a
timely manner.
• Participate in the monthly S&OP Supply Review meeting with analysis of past performance and
outlook to the months ahead.
• Identify and improve gaps in the current production and export processes for Jamaica.
• In line with inventory management policies, supports the Supply Response Manager in analyzing
performance data and monitoring performance against set KPI’s and when necessary, contributes
to the definition of the KPIs.
• Work closely with the Bailment Replenishment team to identify inventory availability for the
control states in the US and Canada.
• Participate and lead the weekly S&OE Operations & Finished Goods meetings as well as the
commercial S&OE for Jamaica
Supply Planning
• Coordinate with the Master Data team to create and maintain accurate master data to support
effective use of the APO-SNP planning system.
• Execute routine heuristic planning runs across the supply network generating supply requirements
according to agreed inventory targets, lead times and device levels.
• Actively communicate important changes to the supply plan with a wide range of parties, including
Production, Planning, Procurement, Marketing and Project Management.
• Release supply plans to Production sites by issuing planned orders, thereby enabling the sitebased planners to build detailed production schedules and material requirement plans (MRP)
• Release distribution requirement plans (DRP) to various supply points by STRs and STOs
• Interact with Supply Response Planners across Campari Group to improve inter-company purchase
planning and execution.
• Report and analyze KPI’s to identify key opportunities and improve supply chain performance.
Replenishment Planning
• Create and execute weekly/monthly replenishment plans for warehouses globally.
• Monitor performance of the replenishment plan on a daily/weekly basis, as needed.
• Perform root-cause analysis of supply issues as needed, and follow-through with corrective action
Inventory Management & SLOB
• Support locally the SLOB procedure (twice a year) on materials bringing the right visibility and
actions.
• Supports with local implementation of initiatives based on analyses for target stock
adjustments and stock re-balance.
• Laser focus on health of inventory portfolio ensuring that the Slow moving & Obsolete (SLOB)
process is adhered to with clear decisions & actions taken to deplete, phase out materials as
appropriate. Escalate risks / issues that will impact achievement of inventory targets.
• To perform risk assessment based on service level, sourcing strategy and other parameters to
define corrective actions when required (inter-region service level improvement, dual sourcing
requests, co-packer performance)
S&OP Supply Review – Jamaica
• Support the Supply Response Manager prepare the monthly supply review meeting and help
coordinate cross-functional input from Production, Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics and
Demand Planning.
• Gather relevant data, assess past performance vs. the key performance indicators (KPI), review
outlook for service, capacity, and inventory, and assemble an information packet that spells out
the issues and options to maintain the supply-demand balance.
• Assist management to identify key issues, trade-offs, and solutions in support of the monthly
S&OP management review.

Experience Required
Required
• 5+ years in a Supply Planning role, including hands-on experience with enterprise-class ERP and
planning systems
• SAP APO and ECC experience
• Experience as a planner within the consumer-packaged goods industry
Preferred
• Hands-on experience as a user of SAP including ECC, APO and BW
• Advanced Degree in Supply Chain or related field
• Alcoholic beverage industry experience
• APICS CPIM certification
Nice-to-Have
• Experience in alcoholic beverages
• Management experience
Education / Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
