About the role
We’re looking for a commercially sharp On‑Trade Area Sales Manager to join Campari Australia on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, covering Northern CBD VIC. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role for someone who thrives in hospitality, loves premium brands, and knows how to win in the On‑Trade.
You’ll own your territory end‑to‑end: growing distribution, building long‑term relationships with key venues, and bringing Campari brands to life through best‑in‑class execution.
What you’ll be responsible for
Grow the business
- Deliver sales, distribution and revenue targets across your VIC territory
- Win new business while accelerating growth in existing On‑Trade accounts
- Negotiate menus, pour agreements, visibility and promotional agreements
Build strong partnerships
- Act as a trusted advisor to venue owners, operators and managers
- Work closely with wholesalers to ensure availability and execution
- Develop simple joint business plans with priority accounts
Activate our brands
- Execute national and local brand programs in‑venue
- Deliver standout activations, events and staff education
- Champion lead brands such as Aperol and Espolòn, placing the right brand in the right venue
Own your patch
- Manage your call cycle, CRM and territory planning
- Stay close to the market – trends, competitors and new opportunities
- Represent Campari professionally at trade events and industry functions
What we’re looking for
- Proven On‑Trade or FMCG field sales experience (3+ years ideal)
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of hitting targets
- Passion for hospitality, spirits and premium brands
- Confident negotiator and relationship builder
- Highly organised, self‑driven and comfortable working autonomously
- Able to work flexibly, including evenings and occasional weekends
What you’ll need
- RSA and valid driver’s license
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- VIC‑based with the ability to travel within territory
