Position Context and Mission

 

 

In 2023 Campari Group launched IBP program, a transformational initiative to enhance Supply and Demand planning capabilities, bringing a renewed operating model, together with re-designed processes and a new planning tool (SAP IBP).

Within this context, the Supply Planner Asia is a new role designed to create supply plans for the assigned co-manufacturers/co-packers in the region, ensuring product availability and compliance with the contractual agreements committed with the co-manufacturers/co-packers.

The role requires a strong interaction with Co-Manufacturing team to review co-manufacturers performances, manage escalations and ensure that supply plans are in line with contractual agreements.  In addition, it will require constant interaction with co-manufacturers/ co-packers in the Region.

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

 

  • Develop and publish weekly/monthly supply plan for assigned co-manufacturers, co-packers and brand owners, leveraging on planning system capabilities (SAP IBP) plus ad-hoc Excel files for co-manufacturing and co-packing operations performed in countries where SAP has not been deployed yet

  • Create and share with co-manufacturers/ co-packers mid-long term forecast, to provide visibility on Campari future requirements

  • Create and issue Purchase Orders to co-manufacturers/ co-packers

  • For the co-manufacturing/ co-packing contracts where materials are provided by Campari, ensure that materials required are timely purchased and delivered by Campari

  • Ensure contract adherence (e.g. yearly planned quantities), and promptly highlight any potential variation to Campari Co-man team

  • Manage and coordinate availability issues, defining recovery plans with co-manufacturer(s) and escalating to Co-man team whenever required

  • Analyse together with regional co-manufacturing team the KPIs for the co-manufacturers/co-packers, and define improvement initiatives

  • Ensure a correct execution of Phase-in Phase-out processes, monitoring the full depletion of phasing out SKU and the phase in of the new SKU

  • Provide visibility to local market on stock projections, based on supply plans agreed with co-manufacturers/ co-packers/ brand owners

  • Manage co-man/co-pack/ agency brands masterdata in the system (e.g. production rounding values, inforecord), ensuring that they are continuously updated

  • Support inventory reporting

  • Act as a backup for Deployment Planner Asia

 

 

 

Key Relationships

 

Internal: regional co-manufacturing team, local logistics & CS teams, deployment planning team, innovation & renovation teams, master data team

 

External: Co-manufacturers, co-packers, brand owner, 3PL, packaging materials suppliers

 

Skills and Experience required

 

  • Degree in scientific area (e.g. Engineering, economics, business administration, supply chain) 

  • Minimum 4+ years experience in supply planning roles (preferably in Beverage/ FMCG industry)

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to plan autonomously according to priorities and urgencies

  • Able to collect and critically interpret data and numbers to ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement and excellence in execution

  • Good knowledge of IT systems: Excel, Powerpoint SAP (SAP IBP module is a plus)

  • A proactive fast learner, challenging himself/herself daily in order to reach excellence and focus on customers and stakeholders satisfaction

  • A fully accountable and people-oriented team player able to instill trust and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • A penchant for critical thinking, pragmatism and natural curiosity for problem solving

  • Influencing and negotiation skills, to interact with co-manufacturers/ co-packers/ brand owners

  • English is a must, other languages would be a plus
