General Description of the Role
The Supply Chain FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial insights and support to the APAC supply chain teams. This role involves analyzing financial data, forecasting costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Template and Model Creation: Responsible for developing and maintaining templates and models for budgeting and forecasting.

Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals preparation.

Monthly Analysis: Conduct monthly financial analysis of supply chain activities, including inventory management, procurement, co-man fees, and logistics costs.

Timely Submissions: Ensure submission of RBs/SBPs/BDG on time and accurately in group reporting systems. Work with GBS to ensure timely upload of product costing files.
Business Partnering:

Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain and finance teams within APAC to align on supply chain KPIs (COGS index, inventory targets).

Project Support: Support business in ad hoc projects, such as route-to-market changes, value chain analysis, and supply network optimization.
Reporting Relationship
The Supply Chain Finance Analyst reports to the APAC Supply Chain Finance manager and works closely in the capacity of a Business Partner with the local supply chain, local finance, regional supply chain team, and Group SC FP&A and GBS.
Experience Required, skills & Attributes

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Education: Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or CPA.

Skills: Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.

Cultural Adaptability: Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across functions, perform data analysis, identify trends, and develop commercial solutions to address issues.

Innovative Thinking: Ability to challenge the status quo.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is advantageous.

System Knowledge: Good knowledge of SAP, SAP BI, BPC preferred.
