Campari Singapore is looking for a Legal Intern to join the APAC Legal Team.  This internship will let you experience hands-on the day-to-day workings of a regional in-house legal team.  You will acquire an understanding of common legal issues facing the business in a broad range of areas - we support the supply and manufacturing side, the distribution side, and the marketing function.  We work with and you will be exposed to different legal systems around the region, in particular, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Australia, and New Zealand.   You will also have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to legal operations and processes, and will gain exposure to law firms who we work with across the region.  Throughout your internship, you will be fully supported by a close knit legal team as well as be part of a broader group of Camparistas who are passionate about our work and our brands. 

 

Job Description:

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Assistance with corporate governance work, regulatory and compliance work, and document management
  • Assistance with legal operational management
  • Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading contracts and other legal documents
  • Ensuring that marketing materials and advertising campaigns are compliant with advertising standards
  • Developing presentations and materials for legal and compliance trainings
  • Updating legal resources and playbooks
  • Other duties as may be assigned

 

Skills Required:

 

A degree in law, previous legal training, and/or previous work experience in a law firm will be viewed favourably.  Proficiency in another Asian language will be viewed favourably.
