Position Context and Mission
In 2023 Campari Group launched IBP program, a transformational initiative to enhance Supply and Demand planning capabilities, bringing a renewed operating model, together with re-designed processes and a new planning tool (SAP IBP).
Within this context, the Deployment Planner Asia is a new role designed to ensure product availability within the sub-region, deploying finished goods between regional warehouses, ensuring connection and consistent exchange of information with other regions for HUB to HUB flows (import from EMEA and Americas regions) and proactively highlighting potential availability issues in the short and mid-long term.
Key Responsibilities and Activities

Manage intra-region and Local deployment flows:

Create the weekly deployment plan for intra region flows (e.g. Singapore to Hong Kong) and for Local flows (e.g. between the different Japan warehouses)

Convert STRs (Stock Transfer Request) automatically proposed by the system into STOs (Stock Transfer Orders), optimizing truck saturation through TLB (Transportation Load Build) functionality

Act as point of reference for Asia for HUB to HUB flows (import of goods from other Regions to Asia):

On a monthly base, collect and load in IBP transactional data (e.g. actual stock position) for the companies not yet integrated in the Campari global ERP system (SAP S4) to enable a correct requirements calculation, ensuring that monthly deadline is met and proactively highlighting any issue to other regions

Check the deployment plan proposed by Global Deployment Planners from other region, to ensure that stock coverage is in line with target

Attend to weekly HUB to HUB meeting, collecting information on stock availability from other hubs and highlighting any criticality for local market

Act as single point of contact for stock projections from the assigned markets, monitoring projected inventory levels and providing information on stock availability

Check system alerts on logistics constraints in the mid- to long-term horizon, getting in touch with local logistics team to find the right solution

Monitor Slow Moving in assigned countries, highlighting risks to local markets and performing stock re-balanincing within the region whenever required

Ensure a correct execution of Phase-in Phase-out processes, monitoring the full depletion of phasing out SKU and the phase in of the new SKU

Manage deployment masterdata in the system (e.g. deployment rounding values, lead times), ensuring that they are consistent and continuously updated

Support inventory reporting

Act as a backup for Supply Planner Asia
Key Relationships
Internal: other HUBs deployment planners, local logistics & CS teams, innovation & renovation teams, master data team
External: 3PL
Skills and Experience required
- Degree in scientific area (e.g. Engineering, economics, business administration, supply chain)
- Minimum 4+ years experience in supply planning roles (preferably in Beverage/ FMCG industry)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to plan autonomously according to priorities and urgencies
- Able to collect and critically interpret data and numbers, understanding gaps vs. targets and defining proper countermeasures
- Good knowledge of IT systems: Excel, Powerpoint,SAP (SAP IBP module is a plus)
- A fully accountable and people-oriented team player able to instill trust and build meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders
- A penchant for critical thinking, pragmatism and natural curiosity for problem solving
- Influencing and negotiation skills, to interact with other regionas deployment teams
- English is a must, other languages would be a plus
