Key Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Leads the development of Greater China led Brown Spirits innovation (new product developments/commercial innovation), working with Global team on China fit-for-purpose innovation pipeline targeted at delighting China’s brown spirits;
  • Owns the end to end execution (including in market) on key MWB Brown Spirits projects for China:
  • Develops and Executes new, scalable programs on Brown Spirits for the China, with proven success in selected outlets (On/Off Premise) for reapplication
  • Contributes to the development of local strategies consistently with House of brand guidelines, ensuring full alignment with the Group Strategic Marketing team
  • Work with agency to conduct research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key drivers of trial and consumption for each segment and demand occasion
  • Contributes to the development of China brand positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with corporate brand vision and target customer demographics
  • Works with CCM team to coordinate the execution of Brown Spirits brand PR and innovation activities, in full alignment with brand plans and strategy. Tracks the overall brand budgets and monitors the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Constantly follows consumer and competitive landscape and the evolution of new trends
  • Maintains strong relationship with media / creative agencies and encourages creative output
  • Continuously promotes and supports capabilities development within the marketing organization

 

Experience

  • At least 10 years of marketing experience in a brand driven multinational company
  • Liquor industry experience highly regarded, FMCG background as a plus
  • Proven track record of Strategic and Innovative thinking, Marketing New Product Development management as a plus
  • Bachelors Degree with relevant subject focus essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams, and showcase influencing skills
  • Experience managing large cross functional commercial projects desirable

  • Superior communication skills, proficient in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese speaking is a plus  - The ability to translate actionable insights into compeling internal and external presentations (written and verbal)
  • Project Management - Ability to coordinate and manage a complex project timeline
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese or French speaking is a plus
