General Context of the Role
The Supply Planner is part of the Regional Supply Planning Hub for EMEA. The team is responsible for all supply, replenishment and inventory management activities to ensure the right level of stock is produced and shipped at the right time from our own manufacturing plants, as well as third party copackers, in the EMEA region to our destination markets across the world.
Mission/Objectives
The Supply Planner is in charge of developing and executing optimized supply plans with the final aim of assuring the right inventory at the right time and in the right place, balancing costs and service levels. The role is pivotal and point of reference for the plant.
Key Responsibilities & Activities

Develop and publish weekly supply plans for finished goods for the assigned Plants as well as third party co-packers (using IBP)

Develop yearly production BDG, and periodical review of it, applying strategies to reach DFCs and service level target

Develop and perform the long-term capacity plan (based on new forecast released by markets) with the collaboration of the plants, tracking deltas versus previous cycles and BDG

Drive the Plant Monthly Meeting and actively contribute to the Supply Review Meeting

Work closely with the assigned plants’ Production Scheduler to review and fine tune the production plan according to plant constraints (plant capacity, people and dry goods availability)

Collaborate with the plant to set-up production calendar, line stoppages, innovation projects, as well as analysis on portfolio

Constant interaction with all the relevant stakeholders within the supply chain, as demand planners in case of forecast issues or customer service for specific customer orders at risk or innovation team along different projects, being a key contact about the plant for planning topics

Liaise with the MRP Regional Planner to ensure plan stability and avoid any material’s issue

Maintain all the planning parameters in the system (SKU Lead Time & Lot Size, Rhythm Wheel)

Monitor plant PSA performing root cause analysis and identifying action plan in collaboration with the plant
Key Relationships
Internal: Plant leadership team, production schedulers, rest of regional planning hub team, logistics and customer service, demand and global planning team, procurement, innovation
External: Co-packers
Education and Experience
-
University degree in STEM areas, Management Engineering is a plus

1-3 years proven experience in supply planning roles in the FMCG industry

Experience of working with supply chain solutions, software and systems. IBP/SAP experience strongly preferred

Fluent in English, Italian, French a plus
