Role Overview 

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Supply Chain Operations with strong focus on Contract Manufacturing, supporting daily operational and administrative activities related to external manufacturers. 
The intern will work closely with the Operations / Supply Chain teams and interact with cross-functional stakeholders such as Finance, GBS, IT and external Partners, contributing to process execution, data accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Education & Experience 

You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar fields with a preference for Management Engineering or candidates who have completed academic courses in Supply Chain or Operations. 

 

You have a strong interest in Supply Chain and Operations and are motivated to gain 

hands-on experience in a real industrial and external manufacturing environment. 

Previous internship or work experience is a plus but not mandatory. 

 

Functional & Technical Skills 

 

Must Have  

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain and operations concepts, gained through academic courses or projects.  

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience is a strong plus and warmly recommended. 

 

Should Have  

  • Interest in planning, manufacturing and external operations processes 

  • Curiosity about data analysis, reporting and operational KPIs 

  • Interest in understanding invoice management, cost flows and interactions with Finance. 

  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new tools, systems and processes

  • Clear and professional communication skills when sharing information and following up on tasks

Key Responsibilities 

 

The Contract Manufacturer Intern will support operational activities, including but not limited to: 

  • Support SAP operational activities (Contracts, Info Records, Pricing, and master data maintenance); 

  • Support GBS invoice management, including invoice checks, follow-up and issue resolution; 

  • Act as interface with IT, supporting ticket creation, problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives; 

  • Support price list updates and system maintenance to ensure data accuracy; 

  • Create and manage Coupa purchase orders related to materials destruction; 

  • Support pallet management activities with Contract Manufacturers; 

  • Support inventory management, including data checks, reconciliation and reporting; 

  • Update and track internal audit findings, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
