Position context
- The Senior Manager Sell-Out reports to the Sales Director Off trade who in turn reports to the Sr. Commercial Director
- The role oversees a team of n. 4 Regional Team Managers, each responsible for leading a group of In-Store Specialists across Italy.
- The position plays a key role in ensuring excellence in execution at point of sales enhancing customer engagement, and translating commercial strategies into impactful in store activities
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Regional Team Managers, ensuring alignment with national commercial priorities and field execution excellence.
- Oversee the performance and effectiveness of the In-Store Specialists through the Regional Team Managers, ensuring strong presence and impact in the field.
- Translate national sell-out strategies into actionable plans and KPIs for the field force.
- Monitor execution quality, visibility, and promotional compliance across key retail accounts.
- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the field team.
- Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, and Category teams to ensure consistency between company priorities and field execution.
- Analyze field data and market insights to identify opportunities and propose corrective actions.
- Support transformation initiatives and lead change management projects within the field organization.
Summary of Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in commercial functions in FMCG
- Strong experience in customer management and field sales is a must
- Solid understanding of the Off Trade channel dynamics and in-store execution levers
- Strong previous experience in people management
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, influencing skills and customer orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation projects and manage change effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
- Good quantitative and analytical skills, ability to interpret sales performance and market trend metrics and information
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural context in a flexible way
Education/Professional Qualifications
- University degree
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English
