We are looking for a dynamic Senior Brand Manager to lead our Namesake brand Davide Campari Milano within the Aperitifs category in the Italian Market Team. Candidates must have at least 5-years experience and proven track record executing across the marketing mix, breakaway consumer communications via national advertising and promotional campaigns, new product innovation and packaging design, and on-premise promotions, balanced with strong business management skills and quantitative decision-making acumen.
The role coordinates all the key players involved (incl. Global House of Brands team members, internal stakeholders – IMC, CMI, CCM, Sales and Support functions - and third parties) to ensure a successful team working and proper focus on brand target achievement, quantitative decision-making, consumer understanding, under the guidance of the Aperitifs Marketing Director.
The Senior Brand Manager:
- is responsible for the development of the Junior Brand Manager;
- reports to the Aperitifs Marketing Director, who in turns reports to the Senior Marketing Director Italy.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
As a Senior Brand Manager, you will oversee the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy and plans for Campari brand, focusing on the following activities:
- Is responsible, in collaboration with the Aperitifs Marketing Director, for developing the annual marketing plan, starting from the annual category brand reviews, to create brand diagnosis, strategy and end-to-end planning;
- Execute the defined Marketing Plan for assigned Brands through a 360° activation, implementing ATL activities in collaboration with marketing specialists (Media and Digital planner, PR Manager, Strategic Planner and Consumer Event Manager) and BTL activities in collaboration with Channel & Customer Marketing Department;
- Build and analyze the brand profitability and performance, implementing corrective strategies when needed and working closely with the Channel & Customer Marketing and FP&A Department;
- Manage sales forecasting up to the next 20 months;

Internal: Global House of Brands Team; Integrated Marketing Communication team, Strategic planning and Business Information team, Channel & Customer Marketing Team, Campari Academy, Camparino Brand House, Sales Team, Demand Planner, FP&A Manager, R&D Dpt.
Experience & Education
- University degree with a specialization in Marketing, MBA nice to have.
- At least 7 years of experience focused in brand management preferably acquired in multinational Luxury or Beverage companies
- Consumer understanding
- Brand positioning knowledge & ability to translate insights into concrete actions that connect Bartender-Trade-Consumer
- Able to develop a media communication strategy and ATL/digital contents with an “out of the box” approach
- Experience in budget and P&L management
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to interpret sales performance and market trend metrics and information (e.g. Nielsen retail, IRI)
- Ability to work in a dynamic context in a flexible way & lead teams confidently through a changing environment
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated individual, KPIs and target driven
- People management (currently managing a Jr. BM)
- English is a must
- Pure passion for Mixology is a plus
- Is responsible for supporting the sales force verifying the execution of the activities in all channels and identifying new trends in the On Trade Channel with spot & scale approach.
