The Legal Counsel IP will support the Global Strategic Marketing Italian & French Icons and Intellectual Property General Counsel with the following responsibilities:

  • Support in the management, maintenance and enforcement of the trademark and domain name portfolios and related administrative matters;
  • Support in the collection of information and documents required for filing renewals applications, applications for registrations, declarations of use, update of trademark and domain name ownership status;
  • Support in the collection of information and documents required for enforcement activities such as litigations and oppositions;
  • Keep track of the pending matters with the support of the external trademark agents;
  • Support in the preparation and management of the trademark and domain name budget;
  • Support in the management of purchase orders, expenses and invoices related to the trademark and domain name portfolios.

 

 

Key Relationships

 

Internal: members of the Legal team at any level (Group, Regional, Local); members of other Group Functions, in particular Global Strategic Marketing, members of local Marketing and Trade Marketing teams.

External: trademarks agents, external legal counsels, public notaries.

 

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Law with a specialization in IP law.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Legal role with a strong focus on Intellectual Property, within an international company or a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property and Advertising law.
  • Fluent English.
  • Problem-solving, teamwork and analytical skills.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work under pressure.
