General Description of the Role
The IR Senior Specialist reports to the IR Manager and is part of the Investor Relations team.
Mission/Objectives
The mission of the role is to work closely with the line manager to ensure a transparent and timely understanding of company dynamics to support disclosure and communication of Group’s results and extraordinary events to the financial community, also via close cooperation with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Investor Relations:
- Supports the IR team in the content and message building of the Group’s financial results on a quarterly basis, in particular, preparing the financials for the investor presentation and press release and other relevant documents liaising closely with Statutory Reporting and FP&A teams;
- Supports financial disclosure process and supports the communication to the financial community, including the quarterly results;
- Manages and supervises the development and update of IR databases and tools for both external communication and internal communication to top management as well as key finance counterparts via relevant portals and documents including analyst reports, relevant backups and financials as well as stock performance analysis;
- Develops and regularly updates internal financial analysis/models (including investor financial book, analysts’ estimate reviews and consensus etc.);
- Supervises the shareholder base evolution and disclosure on governance related matters, shareholder structure and share capital evolution etc., liaising with the legal department;
- Act as a key counterpart for internal teams, in coordination with the rest of the IR team, in collecting information from internal teams as well as external sources and rationalizing data into a storyline
- Provide insights into analyst expectations, commentary in reports to inform strategic decisions
Key Relationships
Internal: Group finance departments (FP&A, Consolidated Financial Statements, Corporate Banking, Tax), Corporate Communications department, ESG team, Legal and Public Affairs department.
External: Investors, Analysts, Auditors, Stock Exchanges, Market Regulators.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Economics with major in Financial Markets / Statistics
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an IR professional, preferably at a beverage or consumer goods company, a consultancy firm, finance teams at similar companies or equity research analyst (sell-side or buy-side).

- Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of Italian is a plus
