General Context

Campari Group is deploying a global transformational process with the evolution of its SAP based ERP system which will enable faster and better access to information.  In order to leverage the evolution in the Commercial Roles, the company needs to evolve its Trade Promotion Management tool, ensuring interconnection and full commercial planning flow.

 

 

Mission of the role

The Global TPM Manager is responsible for indentifying and lead together with IT the deployment and adoption of the Trade Promotion Management tool.  The Global Manager ensures the implementation of the tool working closely with global IT, FP&A and HR teams, while also establisihng strong relationships with the markets so as to support implementation, adoption and change management process.

A fundamental part of the deployment, consists in working in a cross functional process to design a solid foundation in SD SAP module, specifically harmonizing Customer Hierarcy, Price schema and commercial investment governance.

 

Key Activities & Responsibilities

 

  • Leads, from the business point of view, projects aimed at designing and implementing the End-to-end commercial processes and related tools (including local deployment).
  • Understands and helps develop the best approach for each market typology.
  • Fosters process standardization (through an “80-20 approach”) through the design and implementation of a global systems architecture (the Commercial “eco-system” composed by C4C, Indirect and Direct contract management, sell out data, analytics and reporting, and other applications we might develop), working closely with the IT team, GBS, the Global Organization Development team on the alignment of ways of working and other business partners across the value chain.
  • Guarantees governance of global processes and tools, ensures consistency across countries and global alignment, through the involvement in local projects roll-outs
  • Identify Local Business Process Owners, nurture and engage this community across the Group, in order to foster best practices sharing and the continuous improvement of processes and tools in the commercial area.
  • Support in Change Management process to ensure the needed evolution in the ways of working.
  • Growth Models: drives evolution of Growth Models by consistently challenging growth drivers,  best practice and by identifying criteria

    • Global teams:  IT, GBS, FP&A, CCM
    • Local Leadership teams (MDs, Sales, CCM, Finance)
  • External:
    • Consultants involved in projects

 

Required Skills & Traits

 

  • 7/10 years of experience with broad business perpective and a strategic blend of commercial and IT acumen
  • Understanding of market and commercial teams needs for the E2E process is a must have
  • Experience in SAP SD module roll out projects, as well as TPM tools is a must have
  • Knowledge of SAP SD module, in order to drive harmonization process of key foundations for TPM deployment
  • Experience within the FMCG industry would be a strong plus
  • Recognized professional standing/seniority, having a Strong Influencial leadership to interact with and influence other stakeholders.
  • Ability to take initiatives and seek responsibilities beyond the ordinary scope (autonomy)
  • Experience in change management projects
  • Strong project management skills
  • Understanding of a holistic commercial planning process (Planning, executing, monitoring, settlement and evaluation) with a strong Pay for Performance orientation.
