Role/Mission/Objectives
With a direct reporting line into the Global IT-HR G&A Services Procurement Director, the Global Procurement G&A and Services Senior Buyer will manage an overall spending scope of circa 25 ME, potentially expected to grow accordingly to Company growth.
The role follow the major Procurement organization transformation on going. Therefore evolution can be applied in the future. In this first step the main categories under his / her responsibilities (as example and not exhaustive) are: Consultancies, Building and Facilities, Insurances, HR & General Services…
Procurement is accountable to identify, manage and develop a suppliers base capable of supporting the Company in achieving its goals. As a key member of the Global IT – HR, G&A Services Procurement Team, the Global Category Senior Buyer is accountable to develop the strategic agenda for the spend under his/her responsibility.
The position is integral to the S2P process, serving a crucial function in facilitating the delivery and execution of the approved category strategy. The role ensure alignment and accountability between the established strategy and implementation, both at HQ and Regional / Market level. Enhancement of S2P and P2P processes, in collaboration with other Procurement teams and Functions, will be part of the Role
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Develop the category strategy (e.g. supplier rationalization) & risk profile and drive its implementation in close alignment with the Global IT-HR G&A Services Procurement Director and/or the Procurement Functions in the Regions. Involve Business Stakeholders at appropriate stage
- Collaborate actively with the other team members
- Identify and execute cost saving initiatives
- Enhance S2P and P2P processes (Coupa, SAP). Drive innovation and automation with the aim to reduce transactional costs and leverage volume of Campari’s size vs Vendor Markets.
- Drive the ESG agenda for the category within the scope
- Drive the Cash Flow and DPO enhancements within the scope
- Identify and collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Regional Procurement teams to receive inputs necessary for the development of an effective category strategy as well as to cascade down the approved global category strategy
- Execute Analysis to identify valuable insights as input for the Category Strategy & Plan and Budgeting Cycles
- Ensure that Category Strategy is properly followed and implemented
- Conduct RFx and lead negotiation, in alignment with stakeholders to negotiate global / frame contracts
- Manage supplier relationships
- Coordinate Regional Stakeholders involvement ensuring that all business requirements are collected and agreed.
- Execute Category initiatives according to the agreed prioritization and escalate roadblocks
- Execute the supplier qualification process and on-boarding
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance for global suppliers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Clarify deviations and actively coordinate solutions with suppliers and functional area
- Support on Contract Management process
- Optimize category efficiency through implementing supplier, product & process standardization in close alignment with Global Procurement COE
- Report regular category-specific results and KPI’s
- Innovate with best practices proposal and leadership and/or implementation
- Be recognized as business partner and added-valuer contributor
- Perform regular (minimum quarterly) supplier performance reviews and solve issues to secure target (financials and not) achievements

External: Consultants eventually involved in projects, vendors
Experience & Education & Skills
- Proven experience, preferred within Procurement organizations departments – Indirect Spend, of multinational companies.
- Must be familiar with cross-cultural issues and working across different countries at multiple organizational levels
- English proficiency is minimum requirement, knowledge of another languages is a plus
- International working experience is a plus
