University Background

 

Preferred candidates will come from academic backgrounds such as Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Data Analysis.

A strong aptitude for numerical analysis is essential, and programming skills are considered a plus.

 

Activities

The candidate will join the “Integrated Business Planning Global Team” team and will have the chance to be more and more independent throughout the internship in managing project and activities such as:

  • Effective data analysis and reporting
  • Development and implementation of root cause analysis models
  • Improvement & automation of reporting systems (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Building and monitoring of KPI dashboards that support the regional/global review and decision making (PowerBI / Excel)
  • Support in the preparation of GS&OP - Global Sales & Operation, alignment meetings between different planning functions
  • Ad hoc analysis on Demand and Supply topics
  • Analysis and design of statistic models in SAP/APO (our informative platforms)

 

Training objectives

  • Knowledge of the organizational model and the different commercial strategies of the markets in scope
  • Understanding of the notions linked with the demand forecast and its implications vs other functions

The candidate will gain an understanding of the dynamics and complexities of working in a structured environment within large-scale distribution, with a focus on processes and activities in the supply chain

IT Skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerBI are mandatory)

Language proficiency

Fluency in English.
