General Description of the Role:
The Global IT Sr Specialist SAP Service owner at Campari Group is a pivotal role focused on managing the service on SAP Finance & HR
This role involves operating within a DevOps framework, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration between development and operational teams. The Snr Specialist will provide first-level support to users of the SAP modules of scope, assist with incident resolution, and contribute to problem management, feature deployment, and enhancements.
Beyond operational activities, the role acts as the governance anchor for the end‑to‑end AMS service in Finance & HR, ensuring structured service delivery through coordination of the AMS external partner and engagement of Solution Owners by exception.
Mission / Objectives:
- Ensure structured governance of AMS delivery, driving prioritization, service performance, and coordination with the AMS external partner in line with Campari’s run/change operating model.
- To provide effective Level 1 support specifically for the SAP Finance & HR module, enhancing user capabilities.
- Ensure thorough understanding and utilization of SAP Fiori features within the sales and customer service community.
- To participate in incident and problem management, and in the deployment of new features and enhancements, focusing on optimizing SAP modules performance.
- To operate within a DevOps framework, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- End-User Support: Provide entry point for the SAP module in scope, addressing user queries and resolving incidents.
- DevOps Collaboration: Actively work within a DevOps framework, collaborating closely with both development and operational teams to streamline processes, enhance system functionality, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Service Governance: oversee the end‑to‑end AMS service lifecycle, ensuring the AMS external partner delivers according to agreed processes, priorities and quality standards.
- Problem Management: Manage problems related to SAP Finance & HR. Collaborate with AMS partner, IT and business teams for effective resolution.
- Escalation & Expert Engagement: ensure structured escalation management and engage Solution Owners for topics requiring functional or design authority.
- Feature Deployment and Enhancement: Participate in the rollout and testing of new features and enhancements.
- Technical Upskilling: Continuously learn and develop skills on SAP and Fiori, participating in training and certification programs.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration
- Good understanding of the business processes and SAP modules in scope.
- Experience coordinating external AMS partners or service providers, with strong focus on process governance, prioritization, and service performance management.
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an SAP service owner, gained through roles in support or project environments, is highly valuable. This experience should demonstrate familiarity with managing SAP services, coordinating with teams, and overseeing SAP project implementations or support operations
