General Description of The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Global IT Back Office team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance area and IT systems within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Mission
Our IT department plays a crucial role in supporting our finance operations and ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions. Through hands-on projects and exposure to cutting-edge technologies the IT System Intern will have opportunity to work within IT Back Office team and together with the related supported Business Functions (mainly Finance, Tax and Treasury) sharpening communication, collaboration and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
The program provides the participant with a wide breadth of experience into all functions across the finance organization, including:
- Global Tax
- Global Business Services/ Accounting
- Treasury
- Statutory consolidation
- Internal Audit
Key accountabilities & learning areas
- Support the IT team in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems (SAP and Non-SAP Applications).
- Opportunity to work on real projects, with the focus on SAP S/4HANA, S4 Group Reporting, Workiva, SAP SAC for Tax purposes and make a meaningful impact.
- Participate in the discovery of new financial software and tools to support specific processes and to develop innovative challenges (focusing on Insurance, Electronic Invoice, Excise etc).
- Help prepare reports and presentations for management.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
- Acquire a good knowledge of Campari processes and leverage this knowledge to drive quality and improvements
- Complete internal governance tasks as assigned by the IT responsible
- Build strong relationship with Campari IT (Global and Local) colleagues, with business Process Owner and Key Users
- Collaborate with external technology providers to ensure excellence in the delivery.
- Support the coordination between internal and external members
Learning objectives
- Become aware of our organization's digital transformation strategy and vision, with particular focus on SAP solutions
- Learn the current IT operating model
- Acquire the basics of Project management and Service management
- Understanding the principles of Business Analysis.
- Learn basic knowledge and functionality on SAP S/4HANA (mainly on Finance and Controlling)
What’s needed for a successful experience:
- Graduation in IT / Engineering / Business Administration & Business Management programs
- Basic accounting and financial knowledge (financial statements). Practical experience (internship) in finance or accounting would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Fluency in English is a must
- Good computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- International mindset and cross-cultural working attitude
- Pragmatic, proactive, flexible
- Hands on approach, hardworking, eager to learn
