Role Context and Mission
At Campari Group, key enabling technologies to the business are Microsoft 365 and Enterprise Mobility & Security, as well as the associated devices that aim to support and deliver improved collaboration experiences to our end users, both in the office and remotely.
In this role we expect deep expertise in Microsoft 365 technology stack, with a focus on hybrid and cloud identity management solutions, with hands-on experience in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (now Entra ID), Exchange hybrid architectures and Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Viva suite, Co-Pilot & AI Technologies. The M365 Architect will be responsible for the overall governance of the Microsoft 365 services, including all collaboration and content management aspects. The role is expected to closely collaborate with the Identity and Access Management Lead (Cyber Security team), User Access Management Lead (Service Delivery team), Enterprise Architecture team to ensure cross-platform integration and alignment with the wider Modern Workplace strategy and will also be a member of the CoP for Architects across Campari and be expected to contribute to the overall improvement and development of architecture capabilities in Campari
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Global IT M365 Architect shall be responsible for driving Campari Group’s strategy by ensuring: (i) end-to-end governance of Microsoft 365 services through proven processes and collaborative forums with other technical teams; (ii) we maximise usage and adoption of the platform by moulding the technology to business needs while keeping data secure and compliant with internal policies and standard regulations, (iii) we build comprehensive processes to build and maintain reliable identity metadata that can be leveraged in automating tasks and offering user-centric, tailored experiences across the board, (iv) we drive innovation in the personal and team productivity space by evolving the platform roadmap to include the latest technological developments such as Generative AI, etc.
- Enforcing a modern, consolidated identity architecture in line with industry best practices and our journey-to-cloud strategy.
- Collaborating with the wider OneIT teams to build metadata-flow processes from additional platforms (Service Now, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Collaborating with Cyber Security – IAM in continuing the identity lifecycle strategy to support our onboarding process across the group and curate connected processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Managing user identities and maintaining an accurate directory of all users, roles, and entitlements.
- Designing and implementing a modern, scalable and secure collaboration architecture based on Microsoft 365, leveraging Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Copilot and more.
- Developing and maintaining the M365 roadmap aligning it with business needs to create value internally.
- Defining and enforcing the collaboration governance model, policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with security and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with other technical teams (e.g. EUC, Cyber Security, IT Centers of Excellence) to ensure that processes and projects are aligned to agreed principles and standards, ensuring their architecture is fit for purpose.
- Conduct research and case studies on upcoming Microsoft 365 features and products and work with business to plan implementation in relation to business value.

What you bring
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure administration, system administration, technical consulting or related field, information technology role, experience in CPG industry an advantage.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in implementing, managing, reviewing an effective identity management strategy in hybrid and cloud identity infrastructures, with focus on EntraID capabilities.
- Hands-on experience on managing Active Directory, EntraID, Azure AD Connect, on-premises/hybrid/cloud identity management, Exchange & Exchange Online
- Extensive experience in managing Exchange-based email solutions throughout the account lifecycle, including advanced security & compliance aspects: Information Protection, Data Loss Protection, eDiscovery, etc.
- Good technical knowledge of all Microsoft 365 ecosystem and the role of identities in all governance aspects of M365 tenant
- PowerShell and scripting experience to support administration and workflow automation of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 technology stack.
- Supplier and product management including being part of RFI's and RFP's.
- Architectural lifecycle development methodologies, deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture as a function and how it drives simplification and efficiencies within the business.
- Experience in writing high quality documentation and reports
- Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural and diverse environments
- English language fluency is a must, additional languages are an advantage.
- The role is required to travel approximately 10%-20% of the time.
