Organization & Mission
The GBS is a Global Business Service organization, today focused on Finance and SC processes, working through both an internal organization and a Global Business Outsourcer (BPO) which partners with Campari along GBS development and running.
The Service Delivery organization as part of the Campari GBS is responsible of the excellence of the service delivery respect to clear and transparent SLA and OLA among all the parties involved in each process in scope, as well respect to the Global Model in place and the continuous evolutions.
The goal of this structure is the focus on cross-functional service delivery and operational continuous improvement as well on service performance for all Campari local entities, through the definition and monitoring of analytics such as BOI (business outcome indicators), SLA (service level agreement) and OLA (operating level agreement).
The execution of services is also managed through external providers (BPO, business partner outsourcer), under the strong governance, control and orchestration of the Campari GBS Service Delivery team.
The Campari GBS Service Delivery Team is working directly to guarantee the performance of the internal team and of the BPO organization dedicated to Campari, composed by a team of 200 people located in six delivery centers in all geographies (located in South America, Europe, Africa, India and China), liasing with all Campari Local organizations points of contact for each stream/practice (around 50 people), in full alignment with Group functions and the GBS Global Delivery Model.
The process and services in scope include Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procurement to Pay and Master Data Management.
The geographical scope includes all Group markets as well Group functions.
General Description of the Role
GBS centralized the operations related to Master Data Management, including Vendors, Customers, Finance and Materials Master Data.
The Master Data Manager is responsible for the Service Excellence and Customer Experience of the Master Data service delivery affecting all Campari local entities including the projects related to Master Data.
He/she secures compliance, completeness, quality and timeliness of GBS service delivery, managing the BPO operations in line with Campari Global and Regional Functions strategy.
Mission/Objectives
The mission of the role is to secure the quality/timeless and leadership around Master Data Management operations, consistent to Group guidelines and the GBS model.
To do this, the person in charge of the role has to mange the key stakeholders involved in the delivery of the activities, including the assigned team and the BPO delivery centers with a strong focus on SLAs and Customer Experience.
Moreover he/she is continuously seeking opportunities of operational Improvements and Controls related to Master Data creation and maintenance, considering the impacts on the E2E processes.
The Master Data Manager is directly involved and in charge of ensuring a proper Integrations/Acquisition of new companies regarding Master Data Management, leading the activities and projects related to this.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
The role will be responsible of the following activities:
- Is responsible for the implementation of Global Processes in scope affecting all Regions and local entities consistent with the data ownership and data management model defined, contributing to continuous improvement, to process harmonization and standardization.
- Is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Vendors, Customers, Finance and Materials master data, executed by the BPO delivery centers, coordinating the BPO teams
- Is responsible for the delivery of services in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA) to the Service Agreements with Accenture
- Is responsible for the master data quality at Global and local level for the processes in scope
- Monitors SLA and OLA and activates the change management actions required to streamline the process and improve the KPIs on both sides, BPO and local entities
- Introduces and implements new procedures for a continuous improvement on services delivered working closely with the BPO and in strong alignment with Global Functions
- Leverages on dashboards and analytics to monitor and address proper way of working and to ensure data cleansing on a regular basis

Internal: Global/Regional/Local Functions : Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Internal Audit, Sales&Marketing, Legal, Tax
External: BPO, External auditors and Consultants.
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Degree in relevant disciplines (Business Administration / Information Technology / Engineering)
- Expert user of MS Office tools
- SAP proficiency
- Fluent English is mandatory; a second language is a plus.
Professional Experience
- Previous experience in Master Data management at least in one of the field is mandatory: vendor, customer, finance material
- Previous experience in Supply Chain is a plus
- Vendor Management experience
- At least 3 years in a managerial role
