Role/Mission/Objectives
With a direct reporting line into the Global Procurement Other Packaging Category Manager, the Other Packaging Regional Categories Buyer oversees secondary packaging materials at regional level (EMEA), associated with a global market structure and used at regional level expected to increase over the next years in line with Strategic Planning ambitions.
Procurement is accountable to identify, manage and develop a suppliers base capable of supporting the Company in achieving its goals; as a member of the Global Product Related procurement team, the Other Packaging Global Categories Regional Buyer is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic agenda structured around mainly Outer Cartons, Clusters and Giftboxes.
Key Responsibilities and Activities

Develop and drive the strategic agenda for the Other Packaging Regional Categories sourcing, supporting the Global Procurement Other Packaging Category Manager in driving compelling Category Sourcing Strategies built across the main sourcing dimensions: availability, profitability, sustainability and operational excellence

Own the end-to-end Category Sourcing Strategy development and execution at regional level (EMEA), partnering with business functions to define sourcing need and Supplier selection criteria

Lead suppliers negotiations

Take ownership of the Supplier Relationship Management strategy for the region, including segmentation, qualification, risk management, and performance improvement, in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Nurture strong internal and external partnerships to secure the category deliveries

Promote supply risks analysis and risk mitigation plan in the different steps of procurement processes

Drive Supplier Lifecycle Management, partnering with other functions to ensure proper qualification processes, auditing, risk management and performance management

Protect profitability, identifying spend optimization opportunities.
Experience & Education & Skills
-
2-3 years of proven experience within Procurement organizations departments of multinational companies in consumer goods industry with focus on product related materials sourcing.

Experience within cross-cultural environment and across different countries would be a plus.

Master Degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of another languages is a plus

Strong analytical skills coupled with a data driven approach
