General Context

 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Commercial FP&A Sr. Specialist will co-lead the sustainable and profitable business growth through the development and evolution of revenue growth capabilities and disciplines embedding these within the company organization.

 

Mission of the role

 

The Commercial FP&A Sr. Specialist will have a focus on the Partnership Market business, supporting in championing revenue growth initiatives across markets by establishing RGM as a core capability encompassing price & pack architecture, mix management, promotional and trade terms optimisation through the combination of customer & consumer/shopper insights and analysis.

 

 

Key Activities & Responsibilities

 

  • The Commercial FP&A Sr. Specialist will be responsible to initiate local market companies to RGM methodology to pursue sustainable growth in everyday work and together develop revenue growth strategy for relevant products/categories:
    • Develop pack, pricing and promotional plans that leverage consumer insights to balance internal and retailer KPIs and account for competitor strategies.
    • Prioritize commercial spend to optimize investment in the highest potential growth spaces and within key shopper and customer segments
    • Model volume and financial implications of different strategic options
    • Deliver analysis and align across functions on key outputs and opportunities to exploit across price/pack, mix and promotion optimization
  • Provide Analysis for specific Projects

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Global functions’ stakeholders, Local Leadership teams and related teams (Commercial, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance)
  • External: Consultants eventually involved in projects

 

 

Experience & Education & Skills

 

  • Master's Degree in Economics or Business major
  • 2-4 years of working experience possibily with proven record of Revenue Growth Management practices
  • Experince in at least two of the following area: Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing or Category Managment, Finance or Sales Controlling, Strategic Consultancy
  • Experience on analytical models
  • P&L managment
  • Knowledge of business in FMCG industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel (incl. Power Pivot) and PowerPoint
  • SAP and BW capabilieties is a plus
  • Nielsen and/or Circana experience
  • Fluency in English is a must; fluency in Italian and third language is a plus
