Mission of the Role
Gruppo Campari is currently looking for a Commercial FP&A Specialist based in Sesto San Giovanni to support Off Trade Sales Team in defining and implementing the performance measurement framework for the Channel.
This role will embrace a new measurement culture designed to support decisions and to help monitoring Customer and trade investments (including promotions), highlighting risks and opportunities for the business and supporting Decision taking aimed at generating profitable growth and improving relationships with strategic customers.
The candidate should have experience in Financial Planning & Analysis within Finance & Controlling departments of multinational FMCG companies, as well as being familiar with external (Circana/Nielsen) and shopper data (consumer panel data, DOXA, …).
Key Responsibilities and Activities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Support Area Managers, NAM and KAM in analyzing business performance vs plans and assess the financial sustainability of customer initiatives (ie R&Opps assessment, ROI analysis, forecasting product/customer profitability);
- Deliver economic-financial analyses to support decision making processes and identify route-causes aimed at enabling corrective actions in collaboration with line management;
- Partner with Sales, CCM and P&RG team to to monitor revenue management initiatives and track progress toward sales objectives;;
- Elaborate yearly budget, budget reviews and interim forecasts, according to Group FP&A guidelines and timing;
- Enhance reporting tools, by integrating additional (non financial) KPIs and optimizing dataset structure;
- Take initiative, lead change and constructively challenge existing processes to introduce quantitative models for the evaluation of Customer investment and choices (target setting and post-evaluation).
Required Skills & Traits
- International profile with interest in developing international career, Finance or STEM Bachelor’s or Master's degree
- 2 or 3+ years of relevant work experience as business/sales analyst in FMCG
- Proven experience in working in challenging environments, with the ability to drive commercial insights through analytics
- Strong communicator and influencer, assertive but smooth when needed to challenge status quo;
- Proficient in English and Italian, other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in advanced analytics and reporting and AI tools with ability to storytelling
