General Description of the Role

 

The CCM On Trade Manager role is responsible for driving our growth and and brand presence in the on trade channel by implementing our On Premise channel strategies and providing the framework and tools essential to executing these strategies with our customer partners. Understanding where and how best to execute these channel strategies and finding the most impactful ways to engage our customers, shoppers, and consumers will be the key to success. 

 

Mission and Objectives 

 

To align the organization by creating channel strategy and plans to maximize return on investment.  Ensuring that Channel KPI's (including:  Sales, Profitability, Market Share) are delivered. 

 

To win at the point of sale by ensuring superior and unique shopper/consumer experience to boost brand-building effectiveness. In addition, ensuring Executional KPIs (including On Trade Playbooks, execution, +ve distributor feedback) are delivered. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

 

  • is the owner of the On Trade Category Plan. She/he develops the Customer Plan in synergy with the Marketing Plan (strategic planning for each Category) and defines the entire trade marketing mix actions with a specific focus on channel, client and point of sale;
  • Building a clear picture of success for Campari's portfolio across prioritized channel segments (Perfect Store) 
  • Creating a clear objective and a vision on how to win in the On-Premise channel 
  • Setting priorities and supervise the countries A&P investment plan to deliver a budgeted on trade channel sales plan
  • Driving the execution of 6 lever standards in  the markets according the agreed standards 
  • Ensuring proposed On-Premise activations meet both Brand & Customer Strategic Objectives  
  • Activively recruits regional key accounts 
  • Develops customer specific programs 
  • Coordinates the regional execution

Internal: CCM Team and Marketing Team, Country and Area Managers, Managing Director of SG, Global GCCM and GSM Team

External:  Partners, BTL Agencies

 

 

 

Experience & Education

 

  • Experience  in On Premise Channel essential (5+ yrs) 
  • Tertiary Education, with Bachelors Degree with relevant subject focus essential 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams, and showcase influencing skills 
  • People management experience highly regarded 
  • Liquor industry experience is a must!

  • Commercial Acumen - demonstrating a deep understanding of Campari's P&L , customer profitability, and ability to apply financial modeling and ROI estimates on proposed iniatives 
  • Superior communication skills - The ability to translate actionable insights into compeling internal and externeral presentations (written and verbal) 
  • Project Management - Ability to coordinate and manage a complex project timeline
