General Description of the Role
The On Premise Channel Specialist is responsible for driving volume growth, awareness and most importantly distribution and visibility across a set of assigned key brands and accounts. Focus is primarily on direct key account management relationship building and selling and is supplemented by Distributor activity coordination.

Drive visibility and distribution of the Campari portfolio in the On Premise channel.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Key Account Management
• Targets top on premise key accounts, drives distribution and usage of the Campari portfolio, and develops direct relationships with those key accounts.
• Looks for opportunities to expand Campari brand visibility within the on premise channel through menu lists, drink features and special events within the assigned account list/market.
• Develops programs for assigned key accounts to achieve brand presence via menu listing, features and back bar placements and increased profitable growth.
• Follows up with key accounts to ensure activations are executed as planned.
• Provides general reporting of account opportunities, programs, and KPIs (KARMA Management).
• Coordinates with local Campari and Distributor management teams as needed to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Conducts wait staff training and develops incentive programs on a regular basis to ensure that all Campari brands are on the forefront of the staff’s mind within targeted on premise accounts.
Brand Building
• Works in conjunction with Campari’s Field Marketing Management Team to assist with the planning and execution of creative, local events that increase the presence and visibility of all brands within the target market.
• Provides input and feedback to KARMA to support planning and development of the tactical budgets for the upcoming year.
• Schedules tasting events, and menu and cocktail creations in assigned key accounts.
• Monitors and reports competitive supplier, or other volume increasing activity, in assigned key accounts as a means to improve future Campari brand promotions/strategy in the on premise channel and key accounts.
• Works with distributor mixologists on market and brand specific cocktails that drive usage and visibility.
Distributor Management
• Coordinates the execution of orders and agreed to programs in assigned key accounts following the blueprint developed by Campari’s Field Marketing Management team and in conjunction with the Distributor Sales teams.
• Works with key on premise sales representatives from the distributor network to drive distribution, awareness, and trial for priority brands in assigned key accounts (coordinated with Campari’s Field Marketing Management team).
• Conducts periodic meetings with key distributor on premise sales teams to educate and inform about Campari programs and initiatives.

Experience Required
• 1 to 3 years of experience in on premise alcoholic beverage sales.
• Experience working in a three-tier distribution market.
• Current and effective in market on premise channel relationship and marketing understanding.
Education / Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required – preferably in Business Administration.
Essential Job Functions
• Ability to travel within assigned territory – generally 3-5 days per week, and able to work weekends and extended workdays – generally 3-5 nights per week visiting accounts.
• Drive to various locations in assigned area to visit 5-7 accounts per day.
• Deliver on premise account development and programming activities in market/key accounts.
• Make in person presentations – communicating verbally information and opportunities within key accounts and assigned geography.
• Must have a motor vehicle that is insured and possess a valid driver’s license.

• Sound understanding of in market selling skills in the on premise channel.
• Ability to develop creative brand building programs that drive volume and share growth in key accounts.

Technical
• Proficient in KARMA, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
