General Description of the Role
The Senior Finance Manager - Marketing is the owner of the financial planning & reporting analysis for all US marketing related activities. They will provide continuous support to the Marketing organization and US leadership team (Managing Director, VP of Finance, VP of Marketing, etc.). They will be responsible for preparing periodic reporting & analysis and ensure Marketing’s business needs are met. This position requires great attention to detail and collaborating with senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Business partner to Marketing
- Key contact as the owner of Marketing’s A&P budget for all reporting and analysis needs for issues, alignments, and communications
- Business owner of the monthly forecast for A&P budgets; collaborating with Marketing on planning & reporting, ensuring data integrity with Corporate Finance team, sharing insights with Sales Finance team
- Prepares and supports Finance & Marketing teams with all Monthly Business Calls/QBR’s, Strategic Plan, and Budget presentations
- Identify risks & opportunities and proactively take the initiative to resolve issues, mitigate risks and/or capitalize on opportunities
- Build P&L’s for innovations, investment optimization analyses, and business cases
- Monitors performance against KPI’s, investigates variances, and initiates corrective actions with functional leads
- Supports the development of new modelling tools, maintain, and improve existing ones
- Maintain the mapping of transactional and syndicated data used in models
- Actively works with key stakeholders to anticipate and design/create new models to meet the current and future reporting and data analysis needs of the business
- Regularly assesses practices for continuous improvement opportunities, aligns key stakeholders on the options, and delivers the agreed to changes
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in an FP&A or related Analytics function position required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Advanced financial modeling experience is required
- Experience with SAP BW/BPC/SAC/Business Objects or related ERP system required
- Advanced Excel user, experience with PowerQuery, PowerBI or a similar tool is a plus
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally with senior leaders
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated experience driving change across the organization while understanding business partnerships
- Flexibility to work as necessary to meet tight deadlines and deliver when the business requires
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (i.e. ability to express and defend analysis as well as to summarize & effectively explain complex information)
- Comfortable working in a high paced work environment and solving problems independently
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $118,300-152,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
