General Description and Mission / Objectives of the Role
FP&A Director would be responsible for driving business value by offering expert financial and analytical advice to assist in decision-making processes. Working alongside the House of Brand Leadership Team to drive profitability and value maximisation.
The mission of the role is two fold:
- Finance Business Partner to House of Brands (HOB) team with focus on strategic plans, innovations and Investment optimisation.
- Collaboration with the key market for continuous review of performance and alignment between financial strategy and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
As Finance Business Partner to US HOB Team LT, FP&A Director is the point of reference for financial requests, in particular:
o Full financial P&L for house of brands(Budget and Monthly forecast), supports financial analysis, insights and recommendation review with leadership team.
o Develop analysis to support planning (e.g. LTF plan, SBP, Budget).
o Review of external market trends in comparison to sell in close collaboration with business intelligence and marketing team.
o Support strategic pricing recommendation.
o Recommend and monitor short and mid term actions for pricing and promotion.
o Business Partner with SC on Cost optimization. Financial awareness in main business decision
o Engaging actively with Marketing Director to support with A&P planning and management through the year including support collaboration with market to ensure optimization.
o Liaising with Brand managers to support decision making and A&P management in line with agreed plans.
o Drive ROI analysis for key initiatives – maximization of investment, share learnings.
o Innovation business case validation and evaluation.
o Monitor the overheads for the house vs. the target and lead discussion on any actions/interventions needed.
o Support the preparation of the Business reviews with the global exec, regional/market teams. Like QBR, Business Forum etc.
o Drive initiatives through increased focus on the effectiveness and profitability and through the proactive identification of profit/growth opportunities.
o Develop tools to support functional teams in decision making and help improvement of internal processes and financial acumen.

House of Brands Leadership team, House Marketing team, Global Finance team, Key Finance stakeholders part of Business Units, Supply chain,Business Intelligence and Integrated Marketing Solutions.

Experience & Education
• Experience in ideally working closely with Sales and Marketing/ Supply chain in a commercial finance capacity, preferably in the liquor industry or FMCG.
• Degree in Economics/Business Administration;
• Consolidated economic and financial knowledge including profit & loss calculation, profitability elaboration and analysis
• Experience in pricing analytics, trade spend, finance or business planning
• Knowledge of SAP BI (Analysis for Office), SAP Analytics cloud (SAC), Microsoft Power BI, Advanced Analytics techniques would be a strong plus
• IWSR/IRI/Nielson experience advantageous.
• Microsoft Suite proficient; advanced excel user
• Familiar with working in a matrix organization;
• Fluency of English is a must, knowledge of Italian or another language is a plus.
