General Description of the Role

 

The On & Off Trade Specialist is responsible for planning & executing the brand objectives in both On and off trade outlets. Ensuring that Commercial & Brand objectives for the on & off premise channel, brand and customer KPI's are delivered (including: Sales, Profitability, Market Share).

 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee distributor relationships, shipment delivery, depletion tracking, and overall operations
  • Manage all aspects of On and Off Trade execution
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, A&P budgets, and claim settlements for operational excellence
  • Ensuring brand availability, menu listing, and appropriate pricing in on‑premise outlets
  • Monitor outlet‑level inventory and plan stock replenishment aligned with sales opportunities
  • Ensure products are correctly priced, ticketed, and displayed across unpaid shelves and paid elements (wall bays, gondolas, shelf‑in‑shelf)
  • Execute in‑store visibility initiatives and build impactful displays as per annual plans
  • Manage visibility and activation calendars, ensuring flawless execution of brand experiences
  • Plan, execute, and review gift‑pack promotions to deliver pre‑aligned objectives
  • Deliver merchandising services tailored to diverse customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with counter salesmen, bar managers, restaurant managers, and general managers
  • Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as required

What we are looking for:

  • Self-motivator
  • Liquor Industry experience of 3+yrs
  • Ability to network and build relationships
  • Previous merchandising &/or retail experience
  • Knowledge of retail activation planning/ management/ operation
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office (word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work varied hours
  • Knowledge of the Liquor industry and regulatory environment, and communication guidelines
