Job Title: Finance Intern (Industrial Trainee)
Reporting To: Senior Chartered Accountant / Audit Manager
Job Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing financial statements and evaluating internal controls for clients.
2. Prepare and analyze accounting records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
3. Support senior accountants in tax filing, tax compliance, and tax-related queries.
4. Support in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
5. Participate in internal audits, compliance checks, and preparation of audit documentation.
6. Research and stay informed on current financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Qualifications:
1. Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy program and completion of the intermediate level (CA IPCC or equivalent)
2. Strong academic record in accounting, finance, or related fields
3. Understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (GAAP/Ind-AS), auditing standards, and taxation principles
4. Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Required Skills
1. Accounting Software: SAP
2. Microsoft Excel: Data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
3. Auditing Techniques: Documentation and control assessment
4. Tax Compliance: Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other statutory filings
5. Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication with clients and team members
6. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
7. Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
