Your Role
In this position, you are responsible for strategic foresight on market, category, and consumer trends and for translating future scenarios into robust volume and planning assumptions. At the same time, you lead the Marketing Effectiveness agenda with the objective of data-driven optimization of marketing investments and maximizing sustainable business impact.
Your Responsibilities:

Develop forward-looking market, category, and consumer insights to guide mid- and long-term business strategy

Build and refine forecasting models and scenarios, integrating trends, disruptions, and structural changes

Drive demand and volume planning assumptions in close collaboration with Demand Planning and Finance

Lead the marketing effectiveness agenda, using ROI, performance analytics, and MMM insights

Define and implement KPIs, ROI frameworks, and data-driven decision principles

Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders

Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Key Account Management to improve decision-making

Act as a strategic insights partner, aligning teams around market dynamics and business priorities
Your Profile:

Solid professional experience (3-4 yrs) in data driven business analysis in Business Intelligence, Market Research, or Consumer Insights, ideally within FMCG or Food & Beverage

University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a comparable field

Experience working with market research and retail data (e.g. NielsenIQ, Circana, CGA, YouGov)

Outstanding analytical skills and very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (AI know-how is an advantage)

Strong understanding of consumer and shopper behavior and brand growth

Structured, independent, and results-oriented working style

Channel and customer market structure knowledge is beneficial (On & Off trade)

Strong listening, presentation & storytelling skills

Fluent German and English skills
