MISSION

 

The Brand PR & Advocacy Manager will translate core brands - esp. Aperol - into a meaningful, ownable 360°, PR & digital first storytelling with national reach and local (cultural) relevance.

The role involves embedding brands into culture through credible storytelling then amplifying this through targeted (ideally earned) communication in order to strengthen the Brands’ message and increase consumer engagement and brand community building. Additionally, this position will drive corporate PR and employer branding initiatives, contributing to the strengthening of the local corporate reputation.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

 

Brand PR

  • Develop and deploy meaningful and culturally relevant (digital) PR strategy to increase our brands (online) presence
  • leverage paid & drive earned & owned media to boost brand awareness through unpaid / earned channels / formats, e.g. press, broadcasts, cooperations & media partners, KOLs, influencer, celebrities

 

Brand Advocacy

  • engage with influencers and support the development of native content and its amplification
  • Identify & leverage Ambassador/Influencer Integration as well as collaboration partners

 

Local Corporate PR

  • Drive corporate PR topics with local press and support in managing crisis in close collaboration with corporate com's team
  • Build Brand Protection, creating a positive image for the Group and the local subsidiaries/ supporting corporate com's global team to mitigate risk damage in case of crisis management
  • Organize media training for local spokespeople (when needed, based on the global comms guidelines)

 

Local Employer branding

  • Engage with local HR team to amplify local employer branding topics

 

 

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

 

  • Apprenticeship, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Good networking skills and willingness to travel 
  • Creative Mindset and open to new ideas to create a PR strategy
