General Description of the Role
- Reports to the Maintenance Manager.
- Works in the planning together with the Maintenance Store Team Leader (TL) and the Team Leaders for the Maintenance Department.
- Interfaces with the maintenance team and the spare parts store.
- Coordinates with Team Leader for the Maintenance Stores to get spare parts.
- Most important stakeholder in the s planned maintenance execution team is the internal customer.
Purpose of Job
- Proper planning and preparation of all planned maintenance work together with realistic scheduling.

KEY ACTIVITIES
- Plans/prepares and schedules WO's in such a way they can safely be executed on time in full (OTIF).
- Plans/prepares and scheduled-relate-dated maintenance tasks in such a way they can safely be executed OTIF.
Results
- OTIF planned & scheduled maintenance work orders with regard to safety.
- OTIF planned & scheduled maintenance work orders with regard to legal.
QUALITY
- Plans/prepares and schedules WO's in such a way they can be executed in compliance with quality requirements.
Results
- OTIF planned & scheduled maintenance work orders with regard to quality.
WORK PROCESSES
- Reviews tags (work requests) for quality and priority (gatekeeping)
- Plans & prepares WO's (scope, tasks, resources, materials, tools).
- Manages task lists.
- Requests materials in line with the inventory and supply work processes.
- Manages tools for maintenance execution.
- Schedules WO's (considering downtime, part- and services availability).
- Conducts the Spare Part Coordinator activities and execution of the brewery in case of Brewery does not have a Spare Part Coordinator.
Results
- Quality control of planned maintenance work intake, including consistent priority setting.
- Planned & prepared WO's.
- Standardized tasks list available.
- Required materials for planned jobs request on time.
- Required tools for maintenance are available and up to date.
- Scheduled WO's.
- Backup spare part coordinator/Maintenance Team Lead (if required).
ORGANIZATION, INTERFACES & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Reports to the Maintenance Manager.
- Coordinates and cooperates with the Maintenance Store Team Leader.
- Aligns with the work requester (Tagging) during planning.
- Align with the Mechanical and Electrical Team Leaders.
Result
- Part of the planned maintenance team.
- Proper workflow management (job lifecycle management) for planned work.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Supports maintenance plans.
- Supports budgeting of maintenance plans; helps TL to calculate the preventive maintenance budget (asset-based).
Results
- Maintenance plans prepared and scheduled OTIF.
- Budgeting available for preventive maintenance on maintainable item level (asset-level).
INFORMATION & DATA MANAGEMENT
- Ensures proper data registration and handling in the CMMS during work intake and planning & scheduling.
- Responsible for planning & scheduling in such a way the overall predictability and reliability of planned maintenance are maximized, i.e. maximum KPI plan efficiency.
Results
- Proper and prioritized job/WO data handling in the CMMS; i.e. fit for handover to the execution team.
- High KPI of plan-efficiency (i.e. KPI % [nr of planned jobs OTIF]/[tot. nr of planned jobs]; KPI [nr of planned jobs OTIF] / [tot. Nr of jobs in maintenance]).
Knowledge and Experience
DESCRIPTION/GUIDELINE WORKING AND THINKING LEVEL
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years experience in maintenance or operations.
- Affinity with planning & scheduling; ability to effectively plan ahead.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
- Good knowledge and working experience with maintenance planning, preparation, and scheduling.
- Good knowledge and working experience with supply and inventory management work processes.
- Ability to work effectively with the CMMS and with planning/scheduling software.
- Good reporting and data handling/basic computer skills.
- Understands workflow management process and master planning principles. Is able to chair the planning meeting and can facilitate the meeting in an effective manner.
- Ability to work structured and disciplined; set clear (working) priorities in workload and able to keep to agreements and work under pressure/stress (i.e. ensures the planned workflow does not suffer from multiple breakdown interferences.
