Role Overview
Campari Group is looking for a National Account Executive (Grocery) to join the Commercial team based in London, United Kingdom.
This role requires a commercially minded, customer and consumer focused individual with the ability to quickly build internal and external relationships to support delivering the Grocery strategy. They will need to act with a customer-centric approach to deliver key commercial and brand KPI’s. This is a key role which has the potential to take on increased P&L responsibility after commercial grocery foundations have been established, with a clear path to gain all key functional capabilities to progress onto a National Account Manager role.
The successful candidate will report into the National Account Controller Grocery.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Drive commercial excellence across national grocery accounts, ensuring high-quality execution of customer plans, pricing, promotions, new product launches and ongoing account activity.
- Own and maintain EPOS sales reporting, analysing customer-level performance, identifying trends, opportunities and areas of underperformance across brands, SKUs and promotional activity.
- Prepare accurate and insightful inputs for the monthly commercial reporting cycle, consolidating sales, promotional, distribution, stock and performance data to support account reviews and business decision-making.
- Coordinate the timely set-up and upload of promotions and NPD, working cross-functionally to ensure new products, promotional mechanics, dates and supporting information are accurately reflected within customer systems.
- Monitor external category, market and brand performance, using available customer and market data to benchmark Campari Group brands against the category and key competitors and highlight emerging commercial opportunities.
- Maintain strong pricing and promotional governance, ensuring agreed prices, promotional mechanics, funding and activation dates are correct, approved and uploaded accurately and on time.
- Track customer and SKU-level stock positions, proactively identifying risks relating to low stock, excess stock, availability or forecast changes and escalating where corrective action is required.
- Support the National Account team with promotional evaluation and post-event analysis, assessing uplift, rate of sale, ROI and execution to help improve future promotional effectiveness.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure account plans are accurately reflected in forecasts, promotional calendars, customer systems and internal reporting.
- Help implement Grocery convenience & E-Commerce strategy with retailer partners.
- Take full P&L responsibility of World Foods category within Tesco.

Experience and Skills
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the UK drinks industry / FMCG
- Strong understanding of the UK Grocery Trade and Major Retail Accounts
- Evidence of successful insight-led initiatives and excellent execution
Skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insight from data
- Robust commercial understanding, good numerical and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to interact at and deliver change through different levels
- Team player also being able to work independently
