Description

Retail Associates will support the Retail Supervisor and Operations Manager in all operations related to Guest Check in and retail in the Wild Turkey Brand Home.

Retail Associates will be responsible for monitoring the Any Road platform to check in and verify all guests visiting the Wild Turkey Brand Home.  They will work with the Retail Supervisor and operations manager to achieve retail goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. Retail associates will manage the POS Retail associates will utilize positive communication and time management skills to bring sales growth to the brand.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Works directly with the Retail Supervisor and Wild Turkey Brand House team to support day to day operational needs
    • Drives sales by responding to customer needs and suggestive selling
    • Processes and manages inventory
    • Assists with merchandising and visual displays
    • Assists with inventory counts and inventory receiving
    • Performs store opening and closing duties
    • Check in guests via the Any Road ticketing system
    • Verifying guest ID’s during the check in process
    • Stocks shelves with merchandise
  • Delivers excellent customer service
    • Greets and assists customers
    • Responds to customer inquiries and complaints
    • Assists shoppers to find products
    • Processes guest payments
  • Cultivates a safe working environment and follows all health and safety requirements
    • Acts responsibly, at all times, concerning the consumption of any alcoholic beverages
    • Ensures store is kept neat and tidy throughout shift
    • Becomes familiar with all safety and crime-proofing protocols, including watching for suspect behavior and reporting it as soon as possible
    • Stays informed on government regulations regarding the handling of minors, persons appearing intoxicated and suspected third party purchases and acts accordingly, including the recording of such incidents, as directed by the Brand House Management team
  • Other duties as requested

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience working in retail sales
  • 1+ year in hospitality and customer service
  • Previous Beverage Alcohol Industry experience is an asset
  • Strong communication, initiative and time management skills
  • Computer literate-ability to operate ticketing system platform and Point of Sale system required

Skills

Functional:

  • Must be able to repeatedly lift at least 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Excellent communication skills, must be comfortable presenting to large groups of people
  • Manages competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adapts to fast-paced environment with changing circumstances
  • Positive can-do attitude and desire to make things happen

Schedule:

  • Wednesday through Sunday weekly
  • Black out periods for vacation requests presently April-May and September-October
