General Description of the Role
The Consumer, Channel & Customer Marketing (CCCM) Director will lead JWN’s end‑to‑end demand engine across Jamaica and Partnership Markets, driving sustainable growth in line with Campari Group priorities and the House of Brands. This role is pivotal in shaping brand strategy, communication, shopper conversion, customer activation, and the innovation pipeline. It integrates consumer insights, digital communication, customer/channel marketing, experiential activations, and partnership market development to deliver measurable impact.

Success will be defined not only by delivering NSV, market share, penetration, equity, and CAAP, but also by embodying Campari’s culture of authenticity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit—ensuring all plans are insight‑led, budget disciplined, and flawlessly executed in partnership with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.


Mission & Objectives

  • Position JWN as a benchmark in brand building, communication, experiential excellence, and customer engagement across the region.
  • Lead integrated marketing strategies (consumer, channel, customer) for Jamaica and Partnership Markets, aligned with global guidelines and business priorities.
  • Inspire teams to deliver brand, communication, channel/shopper, and experiential plans with measurable KPIs.
  • Optimize A&P investment with strict ROI discipline, ensuring resources are used effectively and creatively.
  • Map long‑term brand trajectories, strengthening equity and relevance in diverse markets.
  • Build and nurture a high‑performance organization that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Translate Group and House of Brands strategies into locally relevant, insight‑driven plans.
  • Define annual integrated plans linking brand ambition, media/comms, shopper conversion, customer programs, and experiential activations.

Brand & Consumer Marketing

  • Approve and oversee brand strategies and annual plans across the domestic portfolio.
  • Ensure A&P allocation maximizes ROI and delivers NSV and equity KPIs.

Communication, Digital, PR & Insights

  • Lead communication strategies across media, digital, and PR, embedding Campari’s authentic and elegant brand voice.
  • Govern insights and analytics, fostering data‑driven decision‑making and innovation.
  • Manage agency partnerships with clear deliverables and accountability.

Customer, Channel & Shopper Marketing

  • Define channel strategies (On‑Trade, Off‑Trade, Wholesale/Retail) and shopper activation frameworks in collaboration with Sales.
  • Ensure trade programs and joint business plans convert consumer demand at point of purchase.

Experiential Marketing

  • Lead experiential activations across Jamaica and Partnership Markets, including consumer events, bartender trainings, and brand experiences.
  • Guarantee ROI discipline and compliance while delivering memorable, brand‑aligned experiences.

Partnership Markets

  • Define growth strategies for priority markets, aligning distributor plans with brand priorities.
  • Foster co‑creation with Partnership Market teams, ensuring global alignment and local relevance.

Budget & Investment Management

  • Lead A&P planning cycles, monthly reviews, reallocations, and compliance.

Cross‑Functional & External Leadership

  • Drive alignment with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Global House of Brands teams.
  • Represent JWN with agencies, distributors, and institutions to strengthen brand outcomes.

People Leadership

  • Build, inspire, and develop a diverse, high‑performance marketing organization.
  • Champion inclusion, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit across all functions.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior marketing leadership in FMCG/alcohol, with multi‑brand portfolio experience.
  • Strong financial acumen (A&P, ROI, P&L impact).
  • Deep expertise in consumer, customer, and channel dynamics.
  • Proven track record in brand building, communication, trade/shopper marketing, and commercial collaboration.
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to synthesize insights, creativity, and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative, results‑driven, and passionate about the spirits industry.
  • Collaborative team player with a global mindset and growth orientation.
