Objective of the Role
• Impact on key metrics defined at brand plan (i.e., awareness, equity items, sales)
• Ensure spending is in line with budget and directed to best return on investment.

 


• The Brand Experience manager is responsible for the Experience strategy development and ensure its coherent and successful execution for both Jamaica and Export Markets
• He/She works in coordination with MMs and BMs in the definition of the brand plan and contributes to the development of brands’ strategy in terms of experiences (Core platforms, big, medium and small events, One Love project) Key Responsibilities and Activities
• Define brand and portfolio Experience strategy for Jamaica and Export markets and align that with MMs and BMs
• Lead, coordinate and coach the Brand Experience Team
• Coordinate Experience A&P budget definition and its use across time ensuring control, smart use of the investment looking for best return and identifying priorities and opportunities making recommendation accordingly.
• Hold regular budget meetings to track expenses and propose adjustments.
• Coordinate ticket allocation across the organization
• Ensure alignment with other functions (Communication, Customer & Channel Marketing, Sales, PAD, Legal, Finance, Supply chain)
• Ensure the integrity of the brand at all times.
• Lead agency and promoters management within its perimeter (agreement definition and contract key elements)


Reporting relationship Reports to Marketing Director. 3 managers reporting into the position.

 

Education / Experience
• Degree qualified in Marketing or equivalent.
• Experience as a Marketing Manager/Project manager
• FMCG or Liquor Industry experience
• Experience with a large value brand or a multiple brand portfolio
• Demonstrated alignment to Company values and behaviours.
• Proven expertise in consumer brands management
• Ability to conduct effective and impactful market and brand analysis.

 

Skills / Competencies
• Leadership in leading conversations and discussions with agencies to develop and execute the plan with excellence and efficiency.
• Strategic thinking. Ability in managing numbers and attentive to details with attitude to balance pragmatism and efficient approach with ambitious result orientation.
• Efficient, organized and detail oriented in ways of working.
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills to communicate with clarity and using the right mediums.
• Capacity to influence ideas and behaviors through the communication of compelling points of view and the building of strong partner relationships
• Business Acumen to understand business and priorities.
• Creativity and Entrepreneurial attitude to foster an innovative team attitude and constantly experiment new path in experiential marketing.

Working Conditions
• General office environment: job, however, requires involvement in off-site promotional activities and events to ensure proper management.
