General Description of the Role

 

We are looking for a motivated professional with 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, or Trade Marketing, preferably within FMCG companies. Experience in the beverage sector (spirits, beer, soft drinks) will be considered an advantage. The Junior Key Account Manager will join the Off Trade Channel Sales Department and report directly to the Key Account Manager.

 

Mission/Objectives

 

The Junior Key Account Manager will support the growth of the company's presence within the retail channel by contributing to sustainable business growth. The focus of this role will be to assist in creating strategies to drive sales, revenue and market share. The Junior Key Account Manager will work closely with senior team members to support partnerships with key retail accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

 

The Junior Key Account Manager will assist in achieving the following objectives:

 

1. Promotional Plan Management: Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of promotional activities in collaboration with the channel marketing team, ensuring alignment with key account strategies.

2. Sales and Market Share Analysis: Conduct regular sales analysis and market share analysis to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to assist strategic decision-making.

3. Revenue Growth: Support revenue growth initiatives by identifying sales opportunities, assisting with cross-selling/up-selling activities, and executing promotional strategies under the guidance of senior managers.

4. Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to support demand forecasting and ensure alignment with key retailers promotional plan.

5. Contractual compliance: Collaborate with internal teams to support the retailers’ annual contracts compliance.

6. Market Share Expansion: Collaborate with the team to help expand market share through product placement, optimized shelf space, and distribution expansions.

7. Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including channel & customer marketing, marketing, supply chain, and customer service to support the seamless execution of strategies aligned with company goals.

8. Customized Strategies: Assist in the development of customized business strategies for each key account, working with senior team members to understand market positioning and competitive landscape.

9. Negotiation Support: Gain exposure to negotiation processes by supporting discussions on pricing, promotions, and supply chain efficiencies.

External: Off Trade Customers

 

 

Experience & Education & Skills

 

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales or other Commercial roles, preferably with some exposure to Key Account management.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related disciplines. A Master’s degree or an MBA is a plus.

· Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

· IT literacy.

· Driver’s license.
