General Description of the Role
The Electrical Maintenance Team Leader reports to the Maintenance Manager and collaborates with the Supply Chain for the performance of its functions. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the electrical maintenance service of the Supply Chain plants and warehouses including the equipment, infrastructure, and general facilities.
Mission/Objectives
The Electrical Maintenance Coordinator solves the problems related to malfunctions attributable to the electrical field and guarantees the good functioning of the plant’s plants, machines, and equipment from an electrical point of view.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Identifies and contributes to the optimal technical solutions for the minimization of costs and the maximization of production efficiency.
- Coordinates the internal and external electrical resources and is responsible for carrying out the assigned repairs.
- Supervises the activities of assigned staff, monitors their performance, and conducts timely performance appraisals as required by the Company
- Contributes to ensuring the safe operation of equipment.
- Manages workshop equipment and tools.
- Collaborates with the Stores Team Leader to comply with the company spare parts management procedures.
- Collaborates with colleagues in the Plant in the application of Lean Manufacturing and Maintenance principles/practices.
- Contributes to the activities necessary to support the maintenance, quality, health, safety, and environment management systems.
- Ensures the proper use of safety devices and personal protective equipment
- Drives technical and procedural measures to solve the problems related to malfunctions attributable to the electrical/electronic field.
- Ensures the timely execution of electrical maintenance activities at the appropriate times, as well as the carrying out of extraordinary electrical interventions based on emergencies that occurred, in line with the production needs of the plant.
- Takes part in the commissioning of the new equipment in order to ensure its correct functioning
- Ensures the proper use of the equipment;
- Participates in the optimization of spare parts stocks in line with the Management Control guidelines.
- Report emergencies or dangerous conditions;
- Contributes to the activities necessary to support the maintenance, quality, health, safety, and environment management systems;
- Ensures the proper use of safety devices and personal protective equipment
- Complies with Company procedures and provisions on quality, health, safety, and environment management systems in order to continue continuous improvement.
- Informs direct superiors of the non-compliance with the legislative provisions on health and safety and the environment and Food Safety, as well as any discrepancies concerning the application of the rules, procedures, and instructions on health and safety and the environment and Food Safety defined by the Company.

Experience Required
- Experience of at least 5 years in manufacturing factories with positions in Production and/or Plant Engineering and/or Maintenance.
- Preference for experience in the Food & Beverage industry
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
