At Campari Group, we are passionate about creating memorable experiences around our iconic brands. At Wilderness Trail Distillery, the Visitor Center plays a key role in bringing our bourbon story to life for guests from around the world.
We are looking for a Visitor Center Manager to lead the daily operations of our Visitor Center, ensuring every guest enjoys an engaging, welcoming and memorable experience on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
This role combines hospitality, retail, events and brand storytelling, and offers the opportunity to shape one of the most authentic visitor experiences in American whiskey.
What you’ll do

Lead the daily operations of the Wilderness Trail Visitor Center, ensuring a high level of guest experience and service.

Manage and develop the Visitor Center team, including recruitment, scheduling, training and performance management.

Oversee retail operations, including merchandise selection, vendor management, pricing strategies and inventory control.

Manage financial operations, including daily cash handling, reporting and monthly financial reconciliation.

Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop events and visitor experiences that drive traffic and sales.

Coordinate VIP visits, tours and brand activations with internal teams and distillery leadership.

Represent Wilderness Trail at local tourism and bourbon industry events.

Maintain compliance with regulations related to tasting room and alcohol retail operations.
What we’re looking for

5+ years of experience in hospitality, retail operations, tasting rooms, tourism or visitor attractions

Experience managing teams and guest-facing operations

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Comfortable managing retail inventory, vendors and financial reporting

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Passion for hospitality, tourism and the bourbon industry
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications or a related field is preferred but not required.

Ability to walk the distillery grounds and lead tours
